What? no Metisse?

I'm only familiar with Boom Boom Ba, their song that Art Bell plays. I also like classical-mostly Vivaldi, Tchaikovsky, and Mozart. What about yous all?

My tastes run eclectic. I like anywhere from America, to AC/DC, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Dan Le Sac, Dave Gahan, Trent Reznor, Death Cab for Cutie, Digital Daggers, Deadmau5, Daddy Yankee, Don Omar, E.S. Posthumus, Eagles, Ella Henderson, The Fratellis, Flogging Molly, Fountains of Wayne, Great Northern, Icona Pop, Imagine Dragons, Christina Perri, Jenny Lewis, Joan Jet, just to name a few. I am looking at my Amazon account, where I have downloaded a lot of music. I also like Gregorian Chant and Hearts of Space type of music.
I also like many types of music but I havn't heard of most of what you posted. I gotta mention as some other favorites Michael Buble and of course Poison.

Am I the only one here that thinks Willy Nelson is a national treasure?

No, you're not.  [and hello Milwaukee -- home of my younger days]

I can't tolerate hip-hop or anything done by anyone labelling themselves as a spoken-word artist.

I have an Aspergers' like ability to recall the most eclectic bizarre songs, so I have a lot of different things in my head at any one time - mostly songs you might consider to be like ballads. Harry Chapin's Sniper and Other Love Songs, Al Stewart's Time Passages, Frank Zappa's Just aanother Band from LA, Rick Wakeman's Journey to the Center of the Earth... It seems like the longer the track, the easier it is for me to recall. Zappa's Billy the Mountain is 19:21 long and I sing it at my computer at work at least once a week driving my coworkers crazy.  I have a huge classical collection, everything the Beatles ever did, ELP, REM, Crash Test Dummies, a lot of Christian rock from the 90s, a lot of southern rock, all 70s and 80s rock, and some off the wall stuff like Kraftwerk, but if it was made in the last 10 years it is pretty much just noise to me except some things like The Band Perry. Here is one of my favorite songs that is kind of different. Disco Sucks.

He got his start as a writer. He wrote the song Crazy that made Patsy Cline famous

Willie wrote it, and sang it. Patsy Cline came along and "stole" Crazy from Willie, and made it hers forever. She covered a few other songs of the day, and "stole" them as well. Not only were they Country hits, they crossed over into Pop hits as well.

I miss the days when this was considered badass.

It still is, in some circles.

I sing this to my daughter all the time. Have since she was born. She turned 19 yesterday. Now she rolls her eyes at me, but she tolerates me.

This is another band that I like. They're from Germany.

Cowboy Junkies put on a great show. One of the only concerts I have been to that the band sounded as good if not better than on CD

Paying bills makes me tired of being alive.

I love Buble.

Hey Glorious, If you like Buble and Patsy, try this.
Harry Nilsson, early 70's [a pal of the Beatles]
From a one-off full record of 30's and 40's love songs with full symphony orchestra.

Album title, "A Touch Of Schmilsson In The Night", song here is "Nevertheless (I'm In Love with You).  Neilson was better know for being a genius goof ball and comic, but here he gets serious and betters most other crooners by a mile. All cuts from the record are on Youtube (same dir as this one).

BTW, You might like Willy Nelson's "Stardust" LP, another one-off of old love and jazz standards (and unlike his country, outlaw, or blues outings)

P.S. That link woeks, buy why it isn't loading here on the page I can't say.

Here's a different copy with someones atmospheric vid overlay
