Christie's inclusion among Trump's associates bothers me, too.  I hope he won't be made AG or anything else, but we'll see.  Christie's views on marijuana criminalization are strangely overzealous.  More importantly, he wants to set up a no fly zone in Syria and start WW3 by shooting down Russian jets when they enter it.  WW3 for Syria?  Fuck that.   If we have to fight global terrorism, let's find ways to work with Russia, I say.  Christie is mired in obsolete Cold War thinking, which corrupts his perception of the world and makes him dangerous.  Having said all of that, you are aware the Clintons are associated with some questionable people themselves, right?  Nobody in Clinton's circle of friendship/trust troubles you?

Is he supposed to not surround himself with people who've made careers in politics? If you research the people he's coming up with, there's a sound logic there. This article spent four paragraphs telling me about how I should think before telling me Trump is talking to a couple of career bureaucrats while not supplying any evidence of why that is bad.

I find the reactions of some of the elites interesting... As though there is nothing to worry about... And with the "swamp heavy" transition team, maybe there is not anything for the ruling elite and career politicians and lobbyists to worry about.  I guess I was hoping to see some change early on.

So, you have Chris Christie saying that Trump can be easily influenced by "people with expertise", think tanks who think that their policies can just be directly implemented because they are "easy to use", and a transition team filled with career politicians.

I honestly hope Trump pulls the plug on that swamp sooner than later.  It is still early- but these are not encouraging signs for anybody who wants "hope and change."
