I am commenting on the fact that Snopes who claims the story is false, didn't provide the reader with the steps they took to either confirm or deny the stories validity.  Is that not something you would want to see?  The path they took to reach their conclusion no matter if the story was true or false? I can't prove the story is true.

I would believe Snopes if they said they called the Chicago Police or reached out to the family, or even found that this guy doesn't exist.  Yet, you take their word simply because they said it didn't happen with no part of the website saying they did anything to disprove it?  The editors just simply decided it wasn't true, logged onto their website and added some words.

Considering that the president told his supporters to get in people's faces and bring guns to knife fights, I'd say the legal fees thing is pretty tame. I'm anxious to see the left tear each other apart and since there is a wide political gap between Hillary and Bernie, it's possible that could happen. Hillary has been moving farther left in the campaign to pull in Bernie voters but I think that's going to bite her in the ass in the primary. Sanders seems like a shoe in for VP but would be do it? He seems like a man, much like Cruz, ruled by ideology and incapable of compromise.

I read the linked article and this woman's explanation makes no sense at all. Worse, she doesn't seem to even understand why what she did was a problem, especially for Trump, the guy she's supporting. No expression of regret, at least none that is mentioned in the article. Her attitude is bizarre.

Yeah, all is not well in their camp. I don't think Bernie would take the VP slot for the reasons you stated. It would have to be his way or the highway since he won't compromise on his principles. He's by far the most consistent politician up there as far as his record and beliefs.

It is a wild and wacky time here, politically. It will be interesting for everyone within their own community to see how many become unexpectedly political, for either side. Imagine that old lady down the street who's a widow. She could totally be the opposite of what you'd think, she tosses a sign in her yard. That young couple with a kid could totally surprise you. You see a sticker on their car. Never saw that coming.

It's times like these the quiet speak out softly as the idiots speak louder. The hard part is drowning the loud ones out.

It's odd. You make your decision in your own head, then you sit back and watch it all happen. Not just in your neighborhood, but your city, county, state, and nationally. And to think your one vote doesn't really matter. It's unbelievable we have the freedom to do so.  I wouldn't trade it, I dont want to know another way.

Always a good idea to think of people as individuals, not stereotypes. That way, if you have to judge them, you're doing so based on their words and actions, not who you imagine they are.
