A POTUS taking on the spooks is only going to end one way, and it won't be pretty.

In which case the spooks are inviting a major shake up which is long over due.  We are not the naive people we were before the Kennedy assassination.

Moby is on the case!

He knows Trump is being blackmailed by the Russians!  He really believes Trump rented movie theatres, filled them with russian hookers and watched My Little Pony!

You're not familiar with investigations are you? Proper investigations follow the evidence, all of the evidence. If Flynn had been charged back at the beginning of January, tying up a prosection lawyer team, they wouldn't be dealing with what is likely to come in the coming weeks and months. The FBI have only just started. There'll be much more to come. You can quote me on that.  ;D

You can bet we will.  But if nothing comes of the investigation you will claim that it was rigged, shameless parochialist that you are.

I don't think anyone has said conclusively that he broke the law, they are saying that it's a possibility pending further investigation. Obama has always been safety-first anyway, and he wouldn't dive into something unless it was iron-clad, especially during an election.

Jeez, the above statement is bordering on reasonable.  You must have gotten a good night's sleep.

Is that your A game? Really? Security advisor gets booted not even a month in because he was tipping off the Russians and lied about it,  you're going for face pulling?  ::)

Oh yeah? What do you guys got? Bowling Green Massacre? Yep, you'll all be using that ONE for the next 4 years.  ::) :D

It's a pity that principled stand wasn't taken during the election when those hacked emails came out about Hillary.

I'm OK with Wikileaks dumping EVERYTHING they have on any government but this is just directed political sniping by ideological hacks within the intelligence community. Trump needs to clean house now.  ;)

So when does the winning start?

Feel conned yet, dipshits?

No...but you're still feeling burned and that feels SO good!  :D

Here is a thought for you...

You don't think that the alphabet soup spooks own Trump lock, stock and barrel?  They record EVERYTHING that every citizen has done for the last decade.  Every phone call and email.  And you don't think that once he was the president elect that somebody went through them and heard every shady dealing and every illegal bribe to a foreign official and his banking info looking for transactions and where they came from and went?  You seriously don't think that they spent thousands of hours to know every skeleton in his closet?

Look at the history of those agencies going back to the files that Hoover kept and tell me that you honestly believe that there is not a massive file on him... Now tell me again how he is free and beholden to nobody.

You've missed my point.  I am not talking about possible involvement in other crimes here. I'm talking about the person or persons responsible for a security bust.  Those who had access to the report should have been kept to "need to know" and therefore should be few in number.  They will sweat everyone involved and the truth will out.

Oh I fully expect there to be almost zero co-operation from the Reps. Nothing from the WH. But we'll see, they might have a pang of concience.

I don't see what ideology has anything to do with it. At the moment, Trump supporters are prepared to brush almost anything away, because they think he's on their side; that's as ideological as it gets. If the intelligence agencies bring things to Trump and he ignores them, what then? Nobody has made anything up, it was Flynn who tripped over his shoes. Like almost everyone in the Trump WH, they are a bunch of amateurs out of their depth, and it shows.

Yes but does Schindler have a list? That's the real question.

If pud recommends it it's usually propaganda. And what do you know? It's an opinion piece.  :D

No, I welcome this investigation. I'm almost positive that once it starts you'll be begging them to stop. Careful what you wish for.  ;)

The winning began with that dreadful cunt Hillary Clinton not being President, it continued with a surge of illegal immigrant arrests, and still continued with countless jobs being created, along with stocks&bonds reaching record highs.

I could name a bunch more, but where have you been?
Working on my million-dollar home and watching the circus, while you wait for him to restore your factory job.

I'll be back for the articles of impeachment during sweeps week in May. That's a long way off still, but Donald will appreciate the theatricality of it.

In comparison with Obama's horse holders who told him to genuflect when meeting the Saudi King and what the ACA would do or not do, Trump's crew look like Mensa members and seasoned advisors and administrators.  Valerie Garrett, Rom Emanual, Susan Rice and Tom Donlon just to name a few onboard Obama's ship of fools.  Oh, and how about Kathleen Sebellius and her roll out of the ACA.  Please, don't get me started.

Everyone on the internet is working on their "million-dollar home"!

I would find it slightly believable if after looking at your post history, you spend your entire time posting in the falkie thread.

It's great that you have so much time in your "million-dollar home" that you can spend so much of it at bellgab in the falkie thread!

Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., went so far as to counsel publicly against spending too much time investigating the White House ... "I just don't think it's useful to be doing investigation after investigation, particularly of your own party," Paul said in an appearance on Fox News
