wow. Must See TV!
Fox's Shep Smith fires back at Trump for his treatment of the press:
"It's crazy what we're watching every day. It's absolutely crazy."

Wasn't he the guy that hit someone with his car in a rage or something?  I've also heard tell some other stuff but, unlike fake news, won't comment on that or various sexual harassment, booze,  and 'Bolivian marching powder' etc at that network (and others.)

"The new executive order is being tailored to the decision we got down from the court."

So the president got 23 pages of first-class legal advice from the 9th circuit for free.  Taxpayers win.
Ha. That is an interesting idea that I didn't think about. Nice. I do stil wonder what the "legal precedent" etc is if Trump kept issuing differently worded orders n agencies acted. Court blocks n issue another. Sort of like many years ago, crazy reference, but how designer drugs would beat laws (until legislation about it, though still happens.)

Nancy Pelosi explains what the word scapegoat means.  ::)

I've never encounter a group of people more condescending and at the same time conversely unconscious to that fact.  :D

1.  Sessions has a superlative record and I have reviewed it.  His credentials are impeccable and so is his performance a Senator and as a federal prosecutor.
2.  I was an admirer of Sessions long before he was a Trump Supporter.

Well that speaks volumes (while also confirming my assumptions regarding your partialities). Suffice it to say (for the moment) that your assessment of Sessions is not shared widely (by people of integrity, at least), and that we will be hearing much more of these matters in days to come, rest assured.

And who might they be? Care to name a few?  ???

His opinion is shared by many people with integrity.  Integrity is something you appear to know nothing about.  Why did Justice Kagan not recuse herself in the Obamacare case?  Since she helped bring forth Obamacare, she clearly had a conflict of interest.  Why don't you answer that?

Was John Lewis playing some game  on his phone, taking a cat nap, or checking out Pelosi's ass? That was weird.
Also I think scape goat is much more easily explained.  Maybe Debbie could inform her?

I don't know; courts can act pretty fast, as we saw.  I've heard that any new order will moot the current cases, and that the 9th circuit is suspending proceedings until next week to give the administration time to draft it.

At risk of belaboring the point, it's instructive to compare the overheated rhetorical positions of both sides last week with what looks like a sensible way forward and realize how much we're being jerked around.

People out in the street with their faces covered, attacking the police and blocking access of course.

Right! Integrity. I almost forgot what that meant.  ;D

How long has he been doing things for Alex Jones?

A few months now but only once every couple weeks or so.

One major difference between the two parties, and between the two parties voting bases, is merely accusing the Rs of unethical behavior is pretty damaging.  Proving a Democrat was unethical doesn't even register.

People like that kook poster know that and use it.  That's what this whole shitstorm with Flynn and now Sessions is all about

That was the second time today that I've called her on her hypocrisy.   She clearly, I assume she's a she, does not have the fortitude to answer my accusations of hypocrisy. I'm tired of dealing with these fringe freaks who live in their own little world and can't see the forest through the trees. I like how she runs off every time she gets a tough question. Such a person does not even know the meaning of integrity much less practice it.

They're easily led.  They think they're more informed than everyone else because they consume more media than their friends and co-workers.  They think they know better than everyone else because they were able to regurgitate more left-wing junk from their professors than the other kids.

Except they've been filled with one sided information and fake news, and don't know the difference.

It's pretty creepy when a bunch of them get together in one of their little echo chambers.  The less stable among them become the Occupy / BLM type thugs.

Today was the Day Without Immigrants Protest. "Immigrants" and allies took off work today to protest President Trump.

Did you notice?

I would probably go so far as to say that "Integrity" is _the_ thing, the word and concept, which best describes "the divide". But/and, in the same way that Trump-attracted minds are incabable of distinguishing fact from non-fact, truth from lies, competence from incompetence, fit from unfit, etc, their notion of Integrity would be similarly defective, twisted, and disordered. So as usual, the once (and it seems like an eternity ago) common-ground and tool of communication, *words* have become essentially unusable, meaningless. Your "Greatness", alas, is Ruination!

Oh good, so an explanation of why Kagan didn't recuse herself on the ObamaCare cases should be quite easily explained.

And how are you doing on that list of DC Dems who recused themselves from various situations over the years?

A person could do that with each of her posts.  They're so off-base I barely even skim through them anymore.

That is a non-answer.  Answer the question that I posed.

I know.  She's bat-shit crazy.  Don't know why I bother responding to her.

Perhaps that big protest for this Friday that Meister has been promoting all week here will be much more successful.

What's sad is the sort of things she posts are the same things that are discussed in solemn tones within the echo chambers.  Except there everyone nods enthusiastically, and always agrees with everyone else.

Oh yes, so smug and self-sure, it's a given everyone who doesn't agree with them are stupid, racist, and worse.  I guarantee you it's a shock for her to be continuously smacked down here, and have no response for it, other than repetition.  It doesn't really quite register.
