Wait, I thought only the ''right-leaning posters brought up Hitler

I didn't  mention  Trump or anybody elses name. Now if you made that connection  I don't  blame you because I was even shocked many of those points connected to the current  admin strategy, so much so I thought  it was fake at first just to be surprised  it's  a real thing

The most illuminating thing, perhaps, is reading the comments sections at both "True"Pundit and the associated Youtube vid page. There are a lot more of these starved individuals out there than we'd guess. In such venues Trump supporters feel safe, right at home among similars, are not trolling but certainly re-enforcing each others "disturbedness" shall we say. I Googled "personality disorders of Trump supporters" for the heck of it and came upon this -- the resonance of which makes it difficult to dismiss:

http://www.rawstory.com/2016/08/a-neuroscientist-explains-what-may-be-wrong-with-trump-supporters-brains/

A neuroscientist explains what may be wrong with Trump supporters’ brains
"How exactly are Trump loyalists psychologically or neurologically different from everyone else? What is going on in their brains that makes them so blindly devoted?

The Dunning-Kruger Effect:

Some believe that many of those who support Donald Trump do so because of ignorance â€" basically they are under-informed or misinformed about the issues at hand. When Trump tells them that crime is skyrocketing in the United States, or that the economy is the worst it’s ever been, they simply take his word for it.

The seemingly obvious solution would be to try to reach those people through political ads, expert opinions, and logical arguments that educate with facts. Except none of those things seem to be swaying any Trump supporters from his side, despite great efforts to deliver this information to them directly.

The Dunning-Kruger effect explains that the problem isn’t just that they are misinformed; it’s that they are completely unaware that they are misinformed. This creates a double burden.

Studies have shown that people who lack expertise in some area of knowledge often have a cognitive bias that prevents them from realizing that they lack expertise. As psychologist David Dunning puts it in an op-ed for Politico, “The knowledge and intelligence that are required to be good at a task are often the same qualities needed to recognize that one is not good at that task â€" and if one lacks such knowledge and intelligence, one remains ignorant that one is not good at the task. This includes political judgment.” Essentially, they’re not smart enough to realize they’re dumb.

And if one is under the illusion that they have sufficient or even superior knowledge, then they have no reason to defer to anyone else’s judgment. This helps explain why even nonpartisan experts â€" like military generals and Independent former Mayor of New York/billionaire CEO Michael Bloomberg â€" as well as some respected Republican politicians, don’t seem to be able to say anything that can change the minds of loyal Trump followers.

Out of immense frustration, some of us may feel the urge to shake a Trump supporter and say, “Hey! Don’t you realize that he’s an idiot?!” No. They don’t. That may be hard to fathom, but that’s the nature of the Dunning-Kruger effect â€" one’s ignorance is completely invisible to them."

That's very interesting.  I could apply all of that to ignorant knee jerk liberals such as yourself.  Have you ever had a real job?  You sound like someone who has been on the government  tit for a long time.  Maybe a teacher or a civil servant or something of that nature.  Please tell me what you have done for humanity or your country or your neighbors?  Seriously, I'm interested.

Milo is going to be on Bill Maher's show in five minutes.

Your courting-skills (among other things) leave something to be desired. ;-)

It was a reference to a Nazi which together with incest seems to be your default setting.  Seriously, there is definitely something pathological about your preoccupation with those things.  Was your mother pregnant with you during the blitz or did she just watch a lot of wartime propaganda movies.  Where your fascination with incest comes from only you can say.  Of course I wouldn't be so low rent as to accuse you of any sexual involvement with close kin.  The odd farm animal maybe but certainly not family.

Well first off, a small point.  I didn't mention Trump or anyone else either - thanks for noticing.  A few days ago the ''right-leaning'' posters were accused of being the ones always bringing up Hitler, and I was referring to that.

My next point since you brought it up, is how closely some of it aligns with Obama, Hilary, and the ''Progressives''.

I don't really put much stock in it though - it seems pretty vague, and covers most governments and peoples, currently and throughout history (military, national security, anti-crime, religious, pro-business, anti-union militancy, cronyism, corruption, election fraud).  I'm not seeing much here fitting the right or left exclusively.

Yeah, if you say.

Well, that's only the biggest story of the 2016 election - Fake Polls leading to overconfidence

To be fair, I don't recall Zetaspeak speaking about incest.  That would be pud.

You are absolutely right.  I confused you with Yorkshire Pudding or whatever his name is lately.  That was a  areal insult and I apologize.

You know I think she means she outweighs me intellectually but of course that is absurd.  She has the mind of a tennis ball.

Hey Pud this was intended for you.  I hope Zeta doesn't sue me for mixing you up with him

Yeah, if you say.

I'm not even sure what you are disagreeing with here.

That the Electoral College ''can'' be polled.  That Mrs Clinton was overconfident (she didn't make a single appearance in Wisconsin).  That pollsters can and do play with polls to get desired results.  That Big Media was acting as an advocate for her and as an adversary for Trump.

I didn't really think any of that was in dispute.

No problem Kidno, I did go through my memory trying to think if I did many Ivanka jokes. I must admit the thought of a Ivanka/Trump joke did cross my mind this week when the photos of her glaring at Trudeau lol. Thanks 21st for having my back.

I agree with you that some on the list is in the eye of the beholder, one persons "cronyism" is another persons "highly qualified".

But looking at majority of the list I don't see much aligning with Obama, but actually a lot of his critics critiquing him that he's not strong enough on those "Fascism points". Stuff like claiming he's weak on nationalism, or military & national security or domestic crime & being too hard on corporations, or claiming he's anti-labour & I really don't think there anybody would say he's too harsh on intellects and the arts

Any public figure is fair game for jokes.  However, the husband getting sloppy seconds thing earlier today just struck me as being in particularly bad taste even for a Brit.  I'm not a censor but I reserve the right to tell someone he/she is being an asshole when so moved.  Joke on.

CNN Blown the fuck out! FAKE NEWS!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BuUWBW9Y4zA

When a network claims to be simply bringing us the events of the day, but is actually continuously advocating for one side and continuously attacking the other, it's one type of Fake News.  Another word for it is propaganda.

The examples are endless in the Democrat Fake News Media.  Each outlet should just admit they are advocates of a certain viewpoint and their reporting is based on their opinions.  Just be honest and have some self respect.  There is nothing wrong with op-ed pieces or outlets with a known viewpoint if they are labeled as such.  Talk radio does very well, as do various magazines, etc.

Big Media - with their declining audience and loss of trust - is in the process of discovering the same thing Nixon and others have discovered.  It's not the action that brought them down, it's the deceit and the cover up.

There were so many "what did he just say?" moments in Trump's so-called press conference but one of my favorites was "the leaks are real" but the news reports are fake  ???
