That's been my prediction all along - Trump wont be the nominee. Will be fun to see what happens but I fear him going third party when he sees a string of losses and continues to be unwanted by the party.

Yeah, I know but I'm trying to be optimistic. Cruz definitely seems to have more momentum now and Marco seems to be on the down-slide. Trump might not do so well in closed primary/caucus states which will be the majority of the contests from here on out. I'm surprised how well Ted is doing in Maine now but there are still a lot of votes to be counted.

Polls had Trump leading in Kansas and Maine. I don't think polls are very accurate in caucus states.

Too bad Rubio remains in the race.

I'm pretty sure Trump will win Louisiana. Kentucky seems to be going Trump but we shall see. What is important to remember is that if Trump doesn't win the nomination and Cruz does, all of these Southeast states will go to Cruz in the general election except maybe Florida.

Cruz may have a chance on getting the Cuban democrats in south Florida so I wouldn't count Florida out.

Ok, they officially called Louisiana for Trump. Seeing as Trump has done well in Texas border counties, I think it is probably a good call though much of the vote is still out.

I think Cruz is going to do well out West during the primaries. He's focusing on the eminent domain issue where Trump is definitely weak. States like Washington, Oregon, Idaho could very well go Cruz.

Kentucky is getting a bit tighter. Trump at 38 and Cruz at 32. Seems like Kasich is taking away some Trump votes along the Ohio border which has largely been to Cruz's benefit.

The race is actually getting a bit tighter in Louisiana with 42% of the vote in. Trump 43 and Cruz almost 36. Trump will still win but it will hardly be a mandate.

They called Kentucky for Trump. So in the end, Trump ekes out races in Kentucky and Louisiana and gets trounced in Maine and Kansas. At the most a good night for Trump but not a big night. Cruz has the momentum.

And Rubio's performance is a real slap in the face of mittens and the rest of the GOP RINOs.
