Oh is that what he was referring to as in meddling?

It must be, to some extent. He had a warning on his webpage last week, apparently someone squatted on the domain caravan2midnight.com and was spoofing his identity. Which doesn't make any sense to me, really, but once again, I am sure there is a lot going on in this guy's world that could never make sense without the proper context, like that great joke that someone told last night when we weren't there. It'll never be so funny again.

QuoteBy conspiracy theorist I mean a joke. Like no one will believe him...cause he is a joke.

I don't have to believe people. Neither do you. We have access to the Internet. We can do primary research. We can make logical deductions.

Well, I can, anyway.

Well, I've given this issue eight and a half minutes of my life, and I don't even know what the issue is, all I know is this: drama, drama, drama.

"Capricorn" Radio... is that an astrological reference, or a reference to the film, Capricorn One?

bigchucka

Couple days ago JBW posted a video on YouTube.  I linked it in the Dark Matter Radio Network section... since Capricorn Radio is a part of the DMRN...

Just looked... Guess What... that video was taken down.... maybe JBW realized he made an ass out of himself... the original is what I posted and it's a dead link..... found a copy...

http://youtu.be/bVJ84rvPwz0

I remember JBW saying recently if he makes a mistake, he owns up to it.  If this is the case.... He best make this statement PUBLICLY by posting it on his YouTube account, as he did with the accusations.  That's my opinion on the matter.  Liked how he answered the toothpaste question...

albrecht

from what I understand from this controversy is that JBW claims someone is posting his show up to youtube (and even created a fake site) claiming they are him or affiliated with CTM. And he also further claims that C2C "operatives" have joined his show and have requested show line-ups in advance (posing as fans like "what guests are coming on next week") to maybe steal, or blackball, the guests. I didn't quite get the link to Capricorn Radio except that maybe they have posted some of the CTM shows to youtube?

bigchucka

Some guy that was putting CTM shows on YouTube had signed a contract with Capricorn Radio to post their shows as well.  Because of this JBW thought there was a link in culpability and called everyone out instead of just the guilty party.  At least that's what it's sounding like...

I see. Thanks. Seems weird to hire someone to post shows to youtube. It is pretty darn easy but a good gig if you can get paid for that! I'm curious if there is any truth in JBW's claim about C2C personnel meddling. I recall accusations and stories of same with DM and even Dark Weekend. Poaching guests, threats of black-balling guests, etc.

bigchucka

I'd say that all depends on what you know how to do.  Or have the time to do.  Bet if Art wanted a show put on YouTube, he'd have Keith do it.  That's an example...

BTW... John accused this guy (Capricorn Radio's host) on a public YouTube video.  I wonder if the only public apology he's gonna get is other people checking back on the story noticing that the video was taken down.

Allegedly it was Capricorn radios producer that did this.

I find Wells' relentless anti-cannabis proselytism immensely obnoxious. Have another cigarette, Cancer Cadet!

Far be it from me to speculate as to why JBW is anti-weed but I think his theory would go that the wacky-tabbacky makes one, usually docile and introspective whereas if you got a gut-full of Jim Beam and a unfiltered Camel, or a cheek full of Copenhagen, you are alert and ready to fight! Especially the NWO minions- or anyone for that matter.

Jackstar

It might be more tolerable if he ever explained it, but no--he just guffaws like a donkey whenever he makes mention of "stoners." Then he lights up a cigarette. What a fucking "addict!"

Echo

How many subscribers do you think CTM has. My guess is under 20k monthly subscribers.

Jackstar

A more intriguing question is, how much is his monthly overhead--including all the cancer sticks.

Get ready to say hello to Obamacare from inside an oxygen tent, culture victim!!!

Some of that's reduced from the fact that he makes his own.  Reference the time he was talking about the "Fire Safe Cigarettes."

when he went on that mini-rant about "fire safe cigs" I thought, maybe, he was just an arsonist. Disappointed that he couldn't use that old trick of lighting a cigarette and putting in a book of matches for a time delay fuse.

What annoys me are the people who are dumb enough to pay five dollars a pack referring to theirs as "real cigarettes."

WildCard

I didn't hate 'bowling balls' when he started on Coast.
At first I was like - What are you guy's bitching about. At least he has opinions. That's better than agreeing with everything every guest says.

I thought his interview with Winter Laake, the Satanist was really good. (Sean David Morton couldn't understand why Well's talked to Laake like a guest/fellow-human being.)

When he really went off the rails for me, was right after Obama was re-elected for a second term.

Then, it was all politics, all the time. And if you disagreed with him, you're just ignorant and uninformed.

Jackstar

Is he smoking organic tobacco? I can't even hypothesize.

I do love John though. Maybe he knows that varenicline is a silver bullet.

SDM?  What a piece of shit.  'America's Prophet?'  This piece of work is such an astute psychic and remote viewer he didn't see the SEC coming after him in 2010 or that he would later be hit with a 11.5 milliion dollar judgement. Guess he forgot to remote view or Psyche himself.  Whenever this guy is on any radio show or podcast, I turn it off.
What a joke.

Now you tell me.

When he was on with Art, I was eatin' it with a spoon. I actually payed for one his "Newsletters".

Remember the night,Well's said, "... and I'm talking to you, George Soros." in his opening bit?

Wow. You're a rebel, huh?

Soros is a piker. The Cooke brothers could buy and sell him on a daily basis.

And this isn't what I tune in for! Why am i even thinking politics?

Koch has more than one person, so right there Soros has more money since he has less family (not including the divorces.) Also the Koch brothers, no matter how bad, are at least from the US and primarily deal within it. Unlike Soros who did cause the financial crisis in Asia a few decades ago, tried to screw the Pound Sterling, and interferes in American politics even though he is not from here. Also the Koch brothers never changed their name or denied their heritage or family name. And also causes much destabilization in Europe, including helping the opposition in Ukraine that consists of various neo-Nazis in addition to honest people which, maybe is no surprise. His reply to questions about watching other Jews go on to trains as a youth in Hungary after helping take their property away:
"KROFT: Went out, in fact, and helped in the confiscation of property from the Jews.

Mr. SOROS: Yes. That's right. Yes."
"Mr. SOROS: Well, of course I c -- I could be on the other side or I could be the one from whom the thing is being taken away. But there was no sense that I shouldn't be there, because that was -- well, actually, in a funny way, it's just like in markets -- that if I weren't there -- of course, I wasn't doing it, but somebody else would -- would -- would be taking it away anyhow. And it was the -- whether I was there or not, I was only a spectator, the property was being taken away. So the -- I had no role in taking away that property. So I had no sense of guilt. "

Having said that the Koch Brothers, and other like them, like Bill Gates, and the various Foundations created by the ultra-wealthy are an anathema to how the country should be run and distorts politics and allow rich people (on all "sides") to direct their wealth for personal quirks and gain. But at least Carnegie, Rockefeller, Gates, Jobs, Kochs, Astor, Walton, etc families etc are American (mostly, though some have allegiances elsewhere). Despite their evil ways (and sometimes good ones.)

bigchucka

Just listened to the Robert Sullivan interview.  Pretty damn good...

eddie dean

I wish these ultra rich assholes, like the Koch brothers, would stay out of politics completely. They have so much influence & cash to sway greedy politicians ( on both sides) and affect policy in their favor. Some group always gets fucked over. It's the american way I guess.
Everytime I think of the Koch's, I picture the old guys from Trading Places. It helps quell my anger a little bit. 8)

RedMichael

Pretty much. We need to do what other countries do and put spending limits on campaigns. What a crazy idea it would be to let the candidates have to stand on their own two feet and sell their platform.

Kelt

Do what China does and periodically execute random corrupt politicians.

Sure, they're ALL corrupt, but it's kind of like Russian Roulette.

"This month one of the Senators from New Mexico will be executed, we just haven't decide which one or why yet.

Stay tuned folks!"

One thing you have to say about the Chinese, they're pricks.

Another thing you have to say about the Chinese is they manufacture horrible, substandard, plastic trash.

And another thing you have to say about the Chinese is that they keep their politicians on their toes.

CHINA!

The Kochs are worth roughly $40 Billion each.  When they throw $100M at the far right, it amounts to about 0.00125 % of their individual net worths.  In other words, they're buying off the US Congress (and the idiots who vote their way) with a rounding error.

John B Wells just had AIDS denialist Liam Scheff on CtM.

it's one thing to have a political view that many would disagree with, but to give air-time to someone whose propagates ideas that have led to the deaths of 1000s.

Can't even bring myself to listen his stuff for free on youtube now.

I haven't heard this show. Is he claiming that HIV/AIDS doesn't exist at all or that is a result of some kind of accidental release (or even planned conspiracy?) I googled his name and found this documentary that apparently the BBC ran about experimentation on children so, I guess, not all of his stuff is "crazy"?

I will say that I was a fan of JBW while on Coast to Coast.  ***sigh***
After tasting a bit of his new site and forum I'll just remember him fondly from the Coast days (for the most part).
What a shit show.  :-[
