Boy, did this thread go stale.  Is no one listening to UnWells these days?  What are his ratings doing?

Hi West. I still have this month to listen and I've only bothered with a couple of shows in the recent posts. I think he's improving- the quality of his broadcast is better. Some of the guests are less "out there" and interesting. It just depends on your personal taste in programming.  :)

if he offered a free broadcast (even a trial period), more would give him a sample...

paladin1991

If he gave up a free trial, I'd go for it.

Jackstar

multiple past Caravan to Midnight shows are available on YouTube.

You can find the CTM shows on YouTube and on torrents. It is really a hit or miss show. Every so often the show is good but sometimes it is just awful where you can't even hear the guest and background noise is bad. I think it is getting better technical-wise. It is definitely more conspiratorial and right-wing/libertarian. So if you like Obama, or whatever his name is this decade, you might not like the show unless you enjoy listening to the other side or even laughing at them.

RedMichael

Republicans would find his show too extreme right too.

Just because his views are rightwing doesn't mean the party members have to accept them or be even remotely more tolerant of them.

A political party's platform and views should be a reflection of the people it represents, they should adapt to them. The people shouldn't adapt to their party's views/platforms or what the media/talk show hosts/etc want the platform/views to be. Otherwise we would have two lame duck parties and a major disconnect between what the populace really wants and what the elected members are representing. Why that would a real mess if such a crazy scenario were to happen.

Listening to the Greg Palast interview.  Playing the "WTF is John doing?!" game with all the background sounds...

The Greg Palast interview is the first podcast I've not had major political disagreements with

Yeah, the only problems I had with the interview is that Palast seems to tell the same stories, same cases, etc in every show he is on. And usually almost in the same order. I like them but there was nothing new that I heard.

BTW the Episode 39 with Lueren Morot was pretty good but I had a flashback. She, at least to me, sounded EXACTLY like Linda Moulton Howe. Not necessarily same subjects (though some were very LHM like with the environment etc) but same mannerisms, speech patterns, pauses, etc as LMH. Struck me an odd.

jimmy church

did anyone catch Red Ice with JBW???

Glad the audio is fixed. Expected it to be considering who was helping.

However Wells and a guest having 2 different conversations at the same time is not odd. It should be expected.

Who's helping?

I assumed the loud background noise was because he was using a condenser mic. The problem is, they pick up every little thing in the room. Terrible for broadcast applications, but all the voiceover guys use them.

Getting ready to listen to the Linda Moulten Howe interview he just did...

Episode 42 Chem Trails!!!

The Weather Channel is part of the cover up conspiracy.. apparently...

How do you know those weatherpeople on T.V. are even human? Have you ever eaten with one?

Caught On Camera: Amazing Roll Cloud Tumbles Over Virginia 17 September 2013

"Roll clouds"? More like , amirite?

I am forty years old. I went to public school. At an impressionable age, I spent weeks being instructed about clouds in the sky. Cumulonimbus, et cetera. If these "roll clouds" existed before 10-15 years ago, they were the fucking best secret ever kept--until everyone had a camera/phone, I guess.

Don't even get me started on the "punch clouds." I hope I never actually meet a meterologist who tries to tell me with a bald face hanging out that these are natural phenomenae, because there will be punching, alrighty.

HAARP-ACCIDENTAL FOOTAGE!! (p.s: not for wimps)

HAARP Creating Persian Gulf Tornado!!! Leaked Footage

No music on one of these, so sorry!

Listened to the LMH show on CTM yesterday. Pretty good and funny because she must have a stipulation that she can just talk. You hardly heard one peep from JBW during her part of the show. But I like her and enjoyed it. Went over in more detail her whole career highlights.

Those attack systems and defense weapons aren't going to pay for themselves!

Shop as usual... and avoid panic buying.

Metropolis. The film actually promotes religion if you think about it.

John B. Wells admitted to being in the employ of the Central Intelligence Agency, on his own show, dated April 26, 2014.

You didn't think I was listening to this guy, just because he was awesome, did you? You're welcome. /salute

The interview with JBW on RedIce Radio was excellent (as are most RedIce shows). He had interesting things to say also about C2C, the corporately owned media, and the reason for him being fired.

So this is happening in a couple of days?  Holy shit, I didn't know Mad Man Marcum got that time machine to work...

Jackstar

I just noticed that the typo on the website has been fixed, so rather less funny now--or really, not at all.

So he didn't work for the 'Our Friends'?

Jackstar

I think you'll have to listen yourself to determine that.
