So what part was "THE MOST mind blowing Sh#t ever?" Seems kinda passé to me.

Darn! I clicked on this thread hoping it was a  'bar' joke.
Wells walks into a bar. A Rabbi is stitting on the stool to the left & a Jesuit on the right. JB Wells orders 3 appletinis, and the bartender says......

I was quite the same. But he would order a "nice cup of tea" even in a bar, I suspect. But to the redbird fan who posted: theories such as these are fairly mainstream in non-mainstream circles (or if you go places in the middle-east, Israel, or Texas (and some other states.) It is always the jeews, the catholicks (with the Jesuits thrown in because of their power and historical influence), or the various powers that be. I imagine in the Vatican their theories, well I guess it did until Vatican II, that is also was the jews but also those awful prostestants.

All these particular stories are completely unknown by me and I listened to c2c for years so I do find it hard to believe that these poisonous idea all that mainstream within the non-mainstream.  Then again, maybe I'm just naive or maybe because I'm an atheist I'm blind to these issues?

Still, ge30, I think/have thought that wells is probably mentally ill in the clinical sense.  And that was before I realized how much c2c restrained him.  My prediction is that wells will commit a violent act before the end of this year, I think he is that unstable in all seriousness.

On a side note - would anyone here volunteer to go on a 7 day road-trip with jbw?  Just your and wells and a lot of windshield time, before you say yes think about it a bit.

I wouldn't go that far. Stuff like this has been written about and on the radio for decades, if not centuries. The whole Jesuit and banker thing and the Titanic has been on C2C years ago I seem to recall. An old theory because of the whole Federal Reserve creation deal on Jekyl Island and the Titanic going down with some rich folks on it the year before. As far as blaming whomever (Catholics, Jews, Illuminati, Protestants, Masons, The King, The commies, etc) is pretty much standard fair throughout history. Heck we've had a whole political party, Know Nothings, based on this and even now we have nations whose national strategy is based on such theories. Wars and revolutions through the ages based on this (or created from them!)

Wow, I had no idea.  I stopped listening to c2c awhile back and I guess I missed that particular bit of terribleness.

So, is anything dismissed a-priori by the fringe folks anymore; is anything beyond the pale?  Is the idea that "they" moved the iceberg or that "they" co-opted the captain and fed him knowledge that only "they" had about icebergs being much farther south than anyone else thought?  It's like so many of these conspiracy ideas; once you move past the initial thought into how it would be done and then covered up it becomes untenable.  Only slightly less shocking is that the vatican is thought competent to pull off such things.

ge30542

It seems that the crowd has kinda the same opinion as me.
I couldn't believe that Wells allowed the Rabbi's assertions to stand, without calling B.S. on anything.
"The Captain ignored 8 warnings that he was off course", etc, etc.
This changes my opinion of Wells, I thought he was credible.
I know that he sells "Geiger Counters" and "Radio Frequency Detectors" on his web-sight.
I'm having difficulty accepting the fact that, as he sips his Proper cup-a-tea, he may in fact be wearing a tin-foil helmet
to keep the microwave voices from getting in.

ge30542

I do actually have a great joke involving a Rabbi, a Priest and a 12yo boy.
can we post such things here?

ziznak

JBW not credible!? Noooooooooooooooooooooooo

and yes tell your joke!

I doubt it. Nothing is beyond the pale, although, I, at least as of yet, not heard the NAZI holocaust denial on C2C, CTM, or other show. Maybe Rense might have a guest possibly but not sure. In any event, the conspiracy guests would likely say that "of course no a priori", we only look at events, players, and facts and get judgement a posteriori.

I had much higher expectations of JBW when I signed up for CTM. It only took 1 or 2 shows for those expectations to bottom out. Not sure if he actually believes these conspiracy theories, but it is apparent that this is his chosen audience. I googled this guest and found only links to his whacked out videos. Not a reassuring sign. I've listened to a few more shows and remain underwhelmed. Disappointing to see him add one more voice (real or enhanced) to the verbal garbage heap. Have you checked the comments on the CTM Facebook page? Sorry to say, but some folks there may be certifiable. Lesson learned. The days of Art having a unique show about alternative topics have been eclipsed by the formula style shows that now dominate the market.

Any who subscribed to Wells' netcasts after hearing a year of his poisonous velvet-cloaked rants ought to be ashamed for enabling that psycho to continue spreading his poison to paranoids. PRN has to be very happy to be free of Toxic John; before one of his delusional fans becomes the subject of a SWAT action and continual cable coverage.

I'm embarrassed to say that I had the show on in the background when JBW was still with C2C and didn't listen to him closely enough to realize that he was holding back.  I was expecting him to challenge these guests more. I agree that this type of programming can be unhealthy for some troubled people. I'm happy to say that I only signed up for the 3 month trial and will not be renewing. I guess this is as close as it comes to buying a tabloid paper at the grocery store.   :)

Wells... Goode... John B Wells... Johnny B Goode... Holy crap, John B Wells is into scat porn!

A Rabbi, a Priest, and John B Wells walk into a bar.

The bartender says "George Noory sucks'.

They all agree and order drinks.

That's kind of joke is one where the set-up is usually better than the punch line. You don't even have to have a punch line. You can say something like "Ron Gronkowski, Tim Tebow, and Johnny Manziel walk into a bar..."

rondo

Yes, his show comes across as amateurish... from his $5 looking website design, to recording his guests' voice feed by putting a microphone directly to the computer speakers so that the sound quality sounds hollow like listening to someone talk to you from the bottom of a well.   Sheesh, John, get a professional audio guy to install a professional audio mixer already and quit recording your guests' voice feed with a microphone put right next to the computer speakers.   I was doing that when I was trying to record my favorite songs off the radio when I was a KID.

And why is he conducting his interviews over Skype instead of over the phone?  His Skype interviews constantly cut out and make it unlistenable.  If he's gonna conduct his interviews over SKype to be able to have a video feed of the guest too, at least test it out before hand to make sure quality is acceptable, and if not, fall back to the telephone line.  And upgrade your 512k internet connection to something faster please.  People who are paying $5 a month to listen deserve better than that.

Let me know when his guests' audio feed improves and sounds better and fuller, instead of sounding like it was recorded with a cheap microphone put next to a computer speaker.  Maybe then I'll give his program another try.

Since I posted "Wells, a Rabbi & Jesuits", I now get pop-up ads for "Jewish Genealogy Search".
Don't you HATE these firggin' ads based on words you type?
I'm not Jewish, and I don't wish to search genealogy of any sort.

Arguing on the interwebs, expecting reasoned debate or garnering respect from opposing viewpoints... Possibly naive... Insulting others with no explanation or reference... Dumbfuck.

I think it's safe to say that the show is a work in progress and we're dealing with a little bit of a learning curve right now. I'm hoping it'll evolve into something more polished with time. I almost feel sorry for the avid fans who bought a $60 year subscription before the show even launched, but then again, they should know better.

I agree that some of the fans on the FB seem a little frightening.

This one, having an interesting conversation with herself, killed me. If I've posted it already, apologies.

A quick search of the interwebs shows a number of odd postings by this person, or pseudonym, everything from chemtrails to floridation, and all kinds of political topics. But that "conversation" was so far the most perplexing. I couldn't make sense of it. This one is interesting also, at least she does think we went to the moon (although the Communion to God via the US flag is an odd idea)

Great show with George, and i cannot believe a high school is teaching we didn’t go to the moon, but i seen video of people on the streets of NYC being brainwashed that we did not go and they already attacked our astronauts calling them liars I heard. i have a article from yrs. ago that said they also thanked God for making there and before they put the flag up they did Communion to God and THAT was hidden from the public from the start so it is NO surprise that they would teach that we didn’t go at all. These teachers must be fired. What did the whole country watch that day if we didn’t go?>ask the ones not even born yet that are starting this lie"
