so i tuned out and watched "the conjuring" it was alright.  I still can't sleep and I'm listening to the first hour most of which I missed.  I will have to say Wells can be funny when he's got loons on the line. 

I'm guessing the C2C hosts have been told to shut down any art bell talk that may come up.  Mentioning him at all on the show is probly heavily discouraged as well.

I'm with you, Yorkie... this thread got real weird.

To me, the prayer guest just sounded a whole lot like a prosperity Christian angle on the new age "manifest what you want in your life" thing so popular in books like The Secret.  My sister and her husband belong to a prosperity church in southern Cal.  The chief message seems to be that God wants you to be wealthy and have what you want; if you don't have money, you must not be right with God.  Oh, and in her pastor's view, it IS okay to judge other people "if it's a righeous judgment".  Of course, who's to say what's righteous?  I guess that whole "judge not lest ye be judged" thing doesn't apply.

Once again, I find myself saying, "Dear Lord, please save me from your followers."

The first time I heard Wells I actually thought it was Art Bell.  I was giving him chance after chance to come through but he just can't do it.  I actually like him, just not on talk radio. For the sake of some measure of civility. Lily was unable to take a joke. When one is new to a forum it is probably better to get to understand the culture than to lash out from a perceived insult.
