The early days of the internet was all about celeb nip slips, and gore pics for some reason. Rotten.com was the place to go to see the worst of humanity.

The instant I saw "gore" in your post, I immediately thought of Rotten.com 8) . I used to print out horrible things like decapitated car crash victims and put them in co-worker's lockers. The Internet almost immediately made me an even worse person.

It was and still is.  You can never go wrong by pandering to the shallow end of the gene pool.

Haha. You were around in the heyday then. It's odd that I used to browse the worst that site had to offer yet now I can't handle pics of spider bites.

I'll bet if Einstein were alive today, he'd be enjoying nip slips and side boob with the rest of us.

That was during my chin-up phase.  Participaction taught me if I could do 10 chin-ups I was fit.  Check out those guns!

We didn't have ISIS/ISIL with head chopping videos in those days, either. But, yeah at 39 I'm genuinely horrified by what amused me at 23 and don't feel a need to watch a track worker at the 1977 South African Grand Prix be torn to pieces by a car going a 175 MPH.

    Well,...once in a while.

Thanks, it would have would worked so well in 1985 when almanacs were used, not Wiki.

*Or 1999 in my home. My ex-wife forced me into the internet age nearly a decade after it began.

Seriously, thank her for doing that, from me.

I'm looking to emigrate to Canada.  Any Canadians willing to adopt a 44 year old web developer?  I'm house broken.

I will make it a point of emphasis next time I see her.

*She'll respond with "A website about Art Bell? My God, what's wrong with you?"

Top-right corner.

Camouflage Autobahn likes to call it the, "N.E. corner". Science - pffffft.
Is it the "N.E. corner" when I'm standing on my head?

I'm impressed by your totally ripped chin!  That hard work really paid off!

Thanks for noticing  :) .  I disciplined myself to consume a full container of 'Elephant's Bulk Up Formula, endorsed by Joe Weider' every day.

"Deflate-gate" ... finally, a scandal I can care about.

They need to play the Superbowl the next week after the playoffs end, there just isn't 2 weeks worth of SB news to cover and write about

Agreed and yet I'm always amazed how much they can stretch out those pre-game shows.

Reminding myself to never rob a bank with Bill Belichick.

What kind of compulsive nutjob builder did this? "ARE THERE ARE ENOUGH OUTLETS? I DON'T THINK THERE ARE ENOUGH OUTLETS. ADD 3 MORE. NO 5 MORE."

Never enough outlets when you need another one.

I don't think I ever bought anything from Skymall but I flipped through the magazine every time I saw it.

Oh me too. Whenever I forgot to bring reading material on a plane, I knew I could at least count on Skymall.

Doesn't the building code require one every six feet?  I think it just happens to be a deceptively large room, though the outlets on the ceiling might be a little much.

9 more outlets, including 2 on the ceiling, or no deal.

I am loving the shit out of the new Marilyn Manson album. Haven't cared about anything he's put out in years.
