I'M John Titor!

*shakes fist in defiance*

No I am John Titor!

*Whispers to person beside him* "This is like Spartacus right?"

I meant in regard to the generally acceptance of 'alternate' lifestyles.  Such as rim-job droids.

haha

Turns out things are much stranger in a galaxy far, far away

At least people are talking about the guy - one of my favorite C2C topics of all time.

Wasn't this the guy who said he was from the future? He's entertaining, but I don't buy that crap for a  second.

Hey all -- just wanted to let you know about a John Titor documentary that's in the works. It's from Canadian filmmaker Jay Cheel and he needs your support:

"HOW TO BUILD A TIME MACHINE will be a genre-bending, true life sci fi mystery that will tell John Titor’s story through interviews with the incredible web of people who were drawn into it, and through a recreation of his journey.

But I need your help to make it!

THE GOAL: To film cinematic recreations of John’s mission to 1975 based on his original Internet posts. To accomplish this, we will need money to help cover the costs of costumes, props, locations, and actors. With your help, we hope to reach $25,000, which will enable us to create a great experience for you, the audience."

If anyone's interested in helping, the website for the project is http://www.hotdocs.ca/docignite/project/how_to_build_a_time_machine

Too bad John Titor is full of shit.

McPhallus

Go after the people who profited on the hoax if you want money.  Like those people on amazon selling his "book" for $500.

Hey, Andrew!  I'm assuming you're new here...

Wazzz up? I'm kind of new here to, but I've discovered this is more of a highbrow "Tesla Documentary fund" crowd and even though I am researching such a project, I have failed to get a single bleeding dime from these tight-ass prick o zoids.

(sigh)

LOL! LOL!  ROFLMFAO!  LOL!

(squints)

A) I think it's safe to say, no one here is interested in funding your cause
B) I hope the project completely fails (because Tesla is better)
C) This didn't deserve to be created as a thread

Repeat A, B, C.

Other than that... John Titor rocks my friend! And we're all gullible as bloody hell and can't wait to buy the JT coffee mug and we all believe that the "multi verse multi time- line theory" (discounting coordinate problems, but what the hell!) completely covers John's footlocker-time-machine-toting-ass and all his inaccurate predictions.

Perhaps if you were to place your ad on facebook....?

(crawling to the exit door of this thread for oxygen, I look over my shoulder to view your self assured countenance and can only marvel .... ya got spunk, kid. Yessir. Damned moxie all over the place.)

Can we donate via PayfuckingPal?

KILL ME. FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY.

I believe in many of things, John Titor's story is the last thing i'll ever believe in Santa Claus is more credible than Titor.

Ruteger

John "Teet-Whore". That tells you all you need to know.

I really like the John Titor Story, very entertaining.

Found a really good quality logo at http://browse.deviantart.com/?qh=&section=&global=1&q=john+titor#/d4gsfcu

MV/Liberace!

i've merged all of the titor threads into one mega sized titor thread.  just wanted to point that out so there's no confusion.

Matathew

Does anybody happen to know where i can stream or get the John Titor documentary (timetravel_0) online? Been searchin for it for a while, havent managed to find a real link to it yet.

Was "John Titor" ever actually a guest or call in on Art's show, or did Art just read his faxes?   Anyone know what dates any of the stuff relating to Art were?

This. But you don't have to believe it to find the whole story entertaining.

No, the guy who used the alias "John Titor" never appeared as a live guest anywhere.
He posted at the old internet message board around 2000-2001 run by Art Bell's webmaster Keith Rowland.
His posts there were archived by the webmaster of the John Titor website now.

Ahh ok makes sense now.  I thought I was missing out on a good classic show to listen to.  Surprising so much hoopla about this guy if all he ever did was post some stuff and maybe fax Art..

There's a pretty good John Titor show going on right now on Jimmy Church's Fade To Black show on Dark Matter Radio. I had almost forgotten what a good back and forth, engaged conversation on this subject sounded like. No sensationalism, no non sequiturs, and BOTH parties are engaged in the discussion.

Yeah, its a pretty kick ass show. Still 20 minutes till its over. Apparently Larry haber, the Titor family attorney,  stated tonight that according to John Titors Mom, John Titor will be back in 2014!!

Oh boy.

I hope C2C is still his favored contact in this time stream. "How are yeeeeeewwww?"
A LOT has changed since you were last here, John.

Sequels years later never turn out as well as the original, and Titor made history as one of the first memes on the burgeoning internet at the time. Leave it at that. Knowing all we do today, if John Titor were to return someone online would be able to get his ip and then hack the surveillance cameras of the venue he was using to post from if he were in public, or at least his current address and location.

If Art had dark matter on the air it could have been a lot more entertaining. First off, I'll bet that Titor would have made his postings on bellgab, seeing how closely it was tied to the show, and also we would have probably torn him a new one. Savagely.

Jimmy Church posted this link on Facebook earlier: http://churchoftitor.com/

"Join us soon in our worship of the true Lord of Time and Savior of our Worldline. The Lord John has saved us from certain disaster, and unto him we praise and give thanks..."

yumyumtree

I agree that the Titor story was interesting, though I never bought it either. The whole premise, that he had to go the past for a computer part or something, sounded like a movie plot, and in fact has probably been used as a novel plot.

The lawyer seemed to be suppressing a giggle in his voice when I heard him. And it's always suspicious when these things are second-third, fourth hand, which is true of a lot of stuff on coast to coast. That doesn't mean it isn't entertaining, it's just less credible. You see it with stuff like Roswell-"well, I didnt see it personally but so-and-so told me before they died..." This is called hearsay and its how rumors and urban legends get started.

George Drooly

Yeah, time travel to the past is impossible. Time travel to the future, however is not only possible, but already achieved. Titor's story is bullshit.
