Oh? Could this be the revelation?

"Sher also mentions a third option: that the measurement is correct. Some theories posit that there are extra, hidden dimensions beyond the familiar four (three of space, one of time). It's possible that the speedy neutrinos tunnel through these extra dimensions, reducing the distance they have to travel to get to the target. This would explain the measurement without requiring the speed of light to be broken."

If followed to a conclusion, warp engines, teleportation and time travel don't seem so far-fetched.

You forgot the other part in the article that says,
"A measurement error in the recent neutrino experiment could also explain the contradiction."

I also fail to see how making vague predictions about future incidents lends any credibility to your time travel story.

Plus, if it did, you'd only be ensuring the chronology of Future:Orange. I think I'm going to start carrying around a derringer in my belt. You never know...

Are Jasoncox and John Thomas the same guy cross posting?

They seem to talk to one another about private matters openly, and both have names that contain not-so-subtle phallic references.

Harold Camping said that doomsday is now October 21st, 2011.
I said that it was October 28th.
But now because Harold Camping said this. We can all be sure that absolutely nothing will happen. We're going to be fine.

Please don't contact Art. You'll ruin the chances of his coming on. He'll totally change his mind about doing any kind of broadcast. Please just stick to contacting George Noory.
Lol, no shit. Contact Ian Punnit too.

So I've been giving this a lot of thought to the whole going back in time to grab an IBM 5100.  I've been going over the facts and being a Computer Engineer I can find no inconsistencies with his story.  I will preface this by saying that I may not find inconsistencies with his story, but I am not claiming that Titor's story is true.

What makes the IBM 5100 Unique is that it has the ability to run programs written in APL.  What makes this special is that most portable/desktop computers of the 70's only supported BASIC as a programming language.  So it is conceivable that if a program written in APL was necessarily to traverse some sort of database it could be done using the 5100 if the mainframe computers were damaged beyond repair.  This is especially important because if the program they are trying to run was programmed for the IBM System/370.

The System/370 was the first computer to fully support virtual memory, but it did this through a nonstandard method, most computers have a memory management unit, this used microcode executed by the CPU.  This same microcode architecture was used in the 5100 so if a program was written for the 370 using virtual memory allocation it could only be run on another computer that implemented virtual memory allocation in the same way.  So if you've stuck with me through this technical diatribe then you can see that a 5100 could be usefull to run programs designed for the System/370.

Unfortunately for most people what I've written above can for the most part only be understood if you are familiar with the inner workings of a computer.  So to sum up what I've said in one sentence:

If somewhere in time a program written for a IBM system/370 needed to be executed then the IBM 5100 is the only computer for the job that, didn't weigh as much as a small car.

When, oh when, will the sock-puppetry end? You know, I have trouble understanding why a guy in Seattle and a guy in Vancouver would really have such great difficulties meeting - it's a straight shot down the I-5. Geography mustn't feature much in the year 2525, I guess. Of course, there was the ominous warning of mental disturbance when speaking on the telephone. What? Will all of the cappuccinos in Washington state fall flat? The horror! The horror!

I am in two minds about this guy (see, it's happening already). Mental illness or does he truly think he's clever?

John Thomas

That is a nice overview of the capabilities of the IBM 5100. It isn't just a Rosetta Stone for APL and BASIC. It can do a lot more. ??? ported a major bank's proprietary legacy system data to a web browser.

Why are all of these questions? You seem very unsure of yourself for a time traveller.

Yep. I'm very unsure. The future is not set in stone. So we shouldn't fret. We shouldn't run around like our hair is on fire. Why less than 2 months ago a guy told me that I was crazy when I suggested there would be violent riots this month. He told me to calm down. He was right.

Vatar

So stock up on your outdated IBM computers while you can and ride a commodore 64 into the apocalypse.  Wooo Hooo!

I also have a serious question.  In the future as you have seen it, what happens to New England and especially Vermont I live here and am a bit concerned as we have a very poor technical infrastructure.

PS: if this is against some rule I understand.

John Thomas

Vermont. More people will be migrating there. Lots of melted snow. Less skiing. There will be few jobs. You'll be a farming culture too -- a part of the Northern Territory. Poor.

This map by Lori Adele is very close to what the U.S. will look like shortly. I would like to add that the East Coast is considerably more flooded than the map shows and the West Coast is less flooded.

I was more interested in how we fair in the civil war that is coming.  Sorry for being too vague.

PS: There are already too few jobs and we are a farming community LOL looks like we are ahead of the curve.

An idea might be to move in with a community like the Amish that knows how to live without the use of modern conviences like electricity or depending on cheap products produced in China...

Haven't you been reading?  All the jobs are coming back to america.  Besides the Amish are amateurs when it comes to Vermonters.  We've been getting the shortest end of the stick for the past 100 years :P

This will not be a battle driven war. This will be a standoff war. The National Guard will be called out to maintain order and put people in FEMA camps. But by then they will have already joined their families in rebellion. The troops come home from all foreign countries to set up our military governments.

That is not to say there won't be victims. They're the ones defending the 1% a little threateningly. They start to quiet down and fall in line with the workers after about 22,000 of them are killed.

There is racial violence in the American South leading to an exodus of minorities. Whites migrate to the South. But it is hot and swampy.

I was surprised to find out there are people online that have followed all my posts even under earlier email addresses.

I'd like to address some of these myths about me.
I am a remote viewer for the U.S. Army.
In a sense, I am. But using technology.

I am a wizard or witch.
It is true I am a Gnostic Christian Pagan.
I believe in the powers of the mind and magic.
Most people of our near future have embraced First American beliefs and culture as a way of life.
It is very New Age. There isn't anything peculiar about it.
We are believers in science and religious about things we have yet to discover.

I am an alien or I am in touch with aliens.
I am not an alien. I have no implants to my knowledge.
However, I have met people in Phoenix, Arizona that may be alien or be from our distant future.
I have met a man almost 8 feet tall with large crystalline eyes.
I do not believe him to be entirely human.
He greeted me and seemed to know who I was. I did not know who he was.
But I felt as did everyone around me that it was a privilege to meet him.

I am now entirely sure that UFO's, time travel, and magic are somehow related not just because they are in the realm of fantasy.

John Thomas

Everyone.
People are starting to point out my recent predictions on another forum called GLP.

That's because Vermont is the shortest end of the stick.  I should know, I lived in that gulag there for 40 years.

Anyone care to compare the source code of these websites?

I did not design this website. But that is my coding style. I believe this is from the future.

I specifically designed this website.

Perhaps if I post a message here asking that johntitorfoundation.com be updated..

Art has become like a human Magic 8 Ball.

Coastgab to Art:  Are you returning to the air soon?

Art's Response:  "There are signs addressing that question."
