Dust particles, not rising air temperatures, are largely responsible for increased snowmelt in the Colorado Rockies, according to a new study from the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena.

"It doesn't matter at all how warm or cold it is, it only matters how dirty or clean the snowpack is," said Thomas Painter, a research scientist at JPL, in reference to rising river levels during the winter and spring in the Colorado Basin.

Under normal conditions between 90 and 95 percent of the energy that's absorbed by freshly fallen snow is from the sun, while only 5 to 10 percent is absorbed from the ambient air. Most of the solar energy is reflected back into the atmosphere by the highly reflective snow.

But when dust blows in from the deserts of the Southwest and blankets the powder with brown flecks, the snow loses its reflectivity and begins to absorb more solar energy. As a result, it melts faster than normal.

I deduce she has a new mentor.  The diction and policy changes suggest a new model to which she clings like an inept gastropod, superficially conforming to its surface.  The only question is, who is it?

   I would suspect her new mentor(s) are none other than the LNM gang such as Vara, Ira, and the Neelys. When she added her show to LNM she adopted chameleon style to blend in to the new network's shtick.  If she were to get on the air now and deny a conspiracy because it was "too dark" or that it bums her out, she would alienate the regular users of LNM.  They would then look to Vara and say "Hey fearless leader Vara, why did you add her too our network? She seems like a deep-state shill." He would have to tip his hand at that point and admit with his own spin, that her followers are a cash cow to his network without alienating his own listeners.   She has been blown about like a ship in a storm, taking the winds from whatever direction they may prevail and rocking to and fro.

   Its all acting and marketing and the truth be damned. I think deep inside she knows this now, and is self imploding with grief, not so much from Art's loss at this point (that is partially a cover excuse). She is lamenting the loss of her own authenticity in a way and the disappointment of seeing things for what they really are. Blessed is the night when she can take on a feel good guest and not even need to bring up Art, the DMRN, the trolls or anything else.

She was planning on announcing the "decision" last night, but she swallowed the pep talk and took another bitter red pill from Elena Freeman. Expect a desk clanging "I am not going anywhere! I'm here to deliver the truth and only the truth! Area 51 or Bust!" in the next couple days.

There is something of a truth to the "paranormal" but what we get from the majority of the names in the field is distorted at best, pure bunk at worst. Long, did read. Good analysis. I don't mind paranormal bunk if the guest is good, enthusiastic, etc and the interviewer is good. Like a Hollywood movie, suspend belief and for fun.
