Maybe living on his compound and under his old roof and with all his memories and things around her is beginning to work on her head to the point she can't move past the grief.

Brig mentioned her getting a change scenery in town.

It's not Brig's life to run, but it's a scenario that might give her a vacation from the grief.

In other words it's a manipulation.

Or just the bubbling residue of boundless and seemingly endless grief.

It's not all her fault , Vara is always having technical problems with his own show.. Keith is being given to much credit , he started out just doing the website, there was no live stream...   Liberace was streaming it.  Art had most of the technical know how, other than the website.  Now that everything is web based it all fell into his lap.

Here's a clue - they have neighbors, a school system, a friendly Sherrif's Department and others to look after them. I'm sure if they ever need to bail and head to the Philippines they have the means to do so.
