If you watch it on YouTube on your phone, Karen is visible on Skype live.  I like it when you can see the guest.

My phone is old and beat up so it barely allows me to use to radio app. and message on bellgab at the same time. One day I'll upgrade...

I've got the money, I'm just familiar with it.
Change is bad!

I find ouija boards interesting but my cynical side always intrudes. For example, if a spirit is guiding your hands, why not wear a blindfold and have a witness record what is spelled out?

ikr?

They will be taking calls after the break.

Karen has a Ouija board behind her on the set.  It looks like a cheap board from Wallmart.  One would imagine she would have an authentic homemade wooden one on her set, IMO.

Tacky

WeinerInHand

This will be my fourth(?) Vara show and I've yet to hear anyone from bellgab call in, so did the fued start when Heather joined his station?

No ghosts in the bedroom? Clearly these two have never watched The Entity.

I don't think any bellgabbers listen to Vara.  I only learned about him because of Heather.  I can't help it, It's the contrarian in me.  But I DO like watching his show on YouTube, and it's on a a great time for East Coast listening.

I don't think he's that bad - I just like to tease!

WeinerInHand

See?! "Penetrate the Shield."
It triggers me!

I don't think he is either, and he doesn't make me a nervous wreck trying to listen to him talk.  Art's voice never made me nervous either.

I honestly can't listen to Heather because her voice is too nasal and it makes my own sinuses respond. You'll think I'm kidding but I am not!

WeinerInHand

You could play a drinking game with Heather's overuse of the word "certainly."

So many things Heather says,  she repeats over and over, and comes across to me, as just an effort to fill in time.  The inflections she uses seem contrived to me in an effort to sound full of energy and excitement.  I don't tune in during the middle of the night to get energized.  And yes, there's the nasal thing...

But at least she doesn't have a high pitched squeeky voice.

Hahaha, somebody asked the blindfold question.  ;D

I remember early on that Keith used to run Latenight in the Midlands on Dark Matter network.
Some event happened and got kicked out and then he started his own LNM network.

Thanks for the History Morgus  :)

I'm not surprised Vara was able to make it on his own.

I see, so it has deep roots.

She told a lengthy story about when she was in a sorority, and she used to use the planchet with her left hand, and write it all down with her right hand.  One night she and a friend put the board on their knees, and she moved the planchet, and her friend did the writing.  So she believes yes, you can do it blindfolded.

I think I remember somebody (don't remember who) saying something about certain rules for Keithes Network you had to follow, that some people didn't want to be restricted to.  I don't know if this was the case in Varas situation, or if it is even still the case on Keiths network.

WeinerInHand

You can not only communicate with dead pets through a ouija board, but also bigfeet?
Alright, I'm callin' bullshit!
