Funny... Iv'e been all cash for quite awhile now (with a small position in PM.)  I was starting to wonder if I had misjudged... Fortunately, the voters in America may help make my retirement great again.  ;)

A friend of mine out here told me (two months ago) Warren Buffet was buying every military contractor he could get his hands on in California. We'll probably be in a huge overseas war in the next two years.

Fuck that piece of shit.

He got where he did by promoting violence.

No, praise him.  Praise him and his group more than you praise MV.  His organization helped propel Donald Trump into the presidency.

So how does mExico pay for the wall?!? We don't accept payment in Mexican piss beer

I wonder where all these BLM pieces of human shit wind up now that the Federal Government won't be protecting their domestic terrorism?

In the end, the Dems will blame Madonna for not honoring her offer.  ::) One guy tried to collect and was rebuffed

Great - calling for a new Civil War.   What the hell is wrong with people?

people only accept things when it benefits their ways

Interesting... That ended up generally accepted by most of the world.  I'm off scouring the net trying to find out what tariff it was (specifically.)  There is lots written on the Smoot/Hawley tariff in the US (general claim is that exports declined from 5 to 1.5 billion because of retaliatory tariffs.)  But that is not what I'm after.  It was a tax on cotton, or nylon, or rubber... Something very specific- and my mind is not able to get there tonight...

The stupid thing is that I agree- we do need some tariffs on products.  Completely open free trade with the entire world is stupid.  The problem is that I am a little more moderate than Mr. 45% tariff on Chinese goods.  Destroying the economy of Gina is not going to make the US economy great again... Then again, Don is not know for moderation.

When was this?

I personally don't think there are any benefits to tariffs, though obviously when dealing with rogue nations on labor or environmental standards imposing tariffs can be a way to deal with them.  Penalties like that are already sanctioned by the WTO.

It would be good, after some settling, like Swizterland etc. I don't mind higher prices for quality products, lower taxes, stable jobs (there you can see the same waiter making a decent living years later visiting,) and a clean country.
You want a country like Switzerland?  You may have to learn to accept universal health care and a touch of socialism.  ;)

I remember when everyone laughed at John Titor.

honestly..i think this is gonna be an awful presidency...but this shows just how much people are tired of that ages old political machine

Exactly.  Trump could very well be a disaster but people are tired of the same ol' same ol' from the political class.

Yes, it's said to have made the Great Depression more severe by decreasing world wide trade by a large amount.

As I said, it will be an interesting experiment to try some of these ideas that had been rejected for a long time out again.  Then again, who knows what President Trump will actually do or how much the Republican Congress will work with him.

you can tell a lot about a person by how they treat those they don't have to treat nicely.

Hmmm,...very interesting words indeed MV.
I almost skipped to the next post but I went back and read it again 4-5 times.
Those words have lot's of punch and "silent" message ... and some how I feel to say this:
some how it could apply to you how you treat some of...us

Thank YOU
