That picture is a classic. Alex gloating over the apoplectic leftist. I don't watch their shows. What was the Turk's spin on the incident? They obvious knew each other and, at first, seemed friendly but wow it escalated quickly. Real or WWF style to get rating for both their shows?

I would think all these Muslim terror attacks, including the ones that are happening in Europe with such frequency would give Billary voters some pause and reconsideration. Or at least make people wonder about her pledge to throw open the border and import even more unvetted people and "refugees," guaranteeing more crime and terror attacks. But, then again, for some people leftist politics over-comes any thoughts of self-preservation.

I had a professor who used to impart this parable to some of his classes:

"Great"?  I know it's your opinion, but somehow I doubt Trump's speech will go down in the history books as one of the "great" speeches of our times. 

What I heard, after lengthy criticisms of Hillary and the Obama administration, was the dominant theme of fear, and how our hero President Trump would protect and save us all from widespread violence and danger--both at home, as well as abroad.  Nothing new here.  Despots world wide have used fear as a mechanism to manipulate and control the populace for millennia. 

I thought the RNC was an embarrassing mess, sorely lacking in any depth, substance, or sophistication.  It looked more like a third-rate fanfest.  Even Alex Jones got in on the action for Chrissake, lol.  I'm surprised we didn't see Tommy and Dave cruise by in the convertible. 

Anyhoo, on to the DNC next.  I can hardly wait. 

I've had some second thoughts. Fear was a dominant theme of the speech. Let's face the facts though.  We live in very troubling times.  I would have preferred a more optimistic tone to the speech a la Reagan but Trump is definitely no Reagan. Maybe Trump went a little heavy on the law and order angle but it is understandable.

I saw a whole lot of Reagan in Pence. I think he's a man to watch -- he's got a direct way of communicating when he gets the chance to speak. Radio experience.

Trump read the speech hot and red, and the performance should worry anyone who was watching with enough distance to see the big monitor. It felt ... overcooked.
