Reagan did endorse Ford that night...this speech and the optics are nothing like what Cruz did last night...

https://youtu.be/_eSmfldz_bA

No he didn't.  He did later in the campaign.

Officially, but he told Ford that night he would endorse at a later time, which is the reason Ford asked him to talk...

Still, he didn't endorse Ford at the time and people are bitching about Cruz doing the same thing.

Another thing that is being said about Cruz is not correct.  Everybody is pointing out the pledge he signed. So far he has never said that he would not vote for Trump on 11/8/16.  He simply does not want to formally help Trump on his campaign.

Ann Coulter just finished speaking.  Wow!  She nailed it!  And, she even called out Hillary!
Big OOPS here.  I am so very sorry guys. :-[   Laura Ingraham was the speaker.

As much as I personally hate it, the US is a two party system and if your not supporting Trump you are for Hillary. In which case fuck you.
The good old "if you aren't wid us, you're agin us" mentality.  It seems since Bush uttered those words, it applies to more and more.  You can no longer disagree with anything- you have to be a full out supporter and go door to door campaigning for our saviour, Donald- or you are the anti-christ.

The rhetoric is old.  I don't like Cruz in the least- but I think he is entitled to have his own views and opinions.  If he does not endorse Trump, is it really going to make any difference?  Or are you saying that without his endorsement you are worried that nobody will know how THEY feel and how THEY want to vote?  It all comes down to a fat man in a suit telling them what to do (and that is supposedly democracy...)

If a system is really that fragile, it deserves to fail.

Britt Hume, I think it was him, on Fox just said "Cruz has the guts of a burglar" and didn't endorse for political reasons not because his wife and dad were insulted. The lady pundit just said "he wrote the longest suicide [political] letter in history." Haha.

Ha. That is funny. Good speech but the interwebs are full of people claiming she made a "Nazi salute" prior to her speech. So funny how people can 'see' things in everything. There are also some funny 'off camera' videos or her and one where she loses it when a feed goes out.

Roger Stone should stick to his night job.   Swinging with other couples.  I bet he likes to be pegged in the ass. Total pissant.  I despise him.  He has no integrity, moral or otherwise.

If you snap a shot of someone waving at just the right angle it can look like that, unlike these people who were actually delivering a Nazi salute.  ;)

Well, they were from a German royal bloodline, so?  ;) Heck until the mad Austrian made it unpopular schoolkids here used that salute during the Pledge of Allegiance every morning ("Bellamy Salute." In many countries, including Mexico where many of our precious illegals come from, that salute is used when being sworn in to certain offices or military ranks.

ps: GOP convention so funny when the older, mainly white folks start rocking out to cover-band doing AC/DC. Haha. I wonder what Ted's supporters think of song choices considering the "Satanic" and/or bisexual rumors of the band's name back in the day. What ever happened to "Proud to be an American" or Big Band and light-jazz? I think Lee Atwater with his guitar riffs changed it. (I say this as a white guy and, usually, Republican in voting.)

Not to stereotype, but I think it's safe to say Republicans can't dance.

So, it seems Alex Jones is now a part of Team Trump, policing the RNC convention with Roger Stone.

Stone was kicked out of the campaign and though Trump was on Alex's show a few months ago I doubt he has an official capacity or position. They both are supporting Trump (though in Alex's case, like many other people, it could be more of an anti-Billary though it would seem he is 'all in' on Trump now.) Btw he was "attacked" the other day by communist/socialist agitators (not sure if they were the some ones who in an attempt to burn a flag lit themselves on fire or not.) Wasn't much of an attack and he was doing his usual "bullhorning" at a protest. I'm not saying anyone deserves to be attack but bullhorning and demanding that socialists denounce the actions of Lenin, Stalin, Mao, and Pol Pot? Good way to get attacked.

WTF? Why would a guy do something like that unless he was very drunk (ala Yeltsin style antics?) And I thought he had that surgery?

Is that from the RNC or a Depends commercial?  ;D

Not to be out done by his boss, who has successfully reduced to zero his support from "the gays", "the blacks" and "the hispanics", Trump sock puppet Paul Manafort has proclaimed women will vote for Trump because "Their husbands can't afford to pay the family bills".  Quite an impressive twofer.  Not only has he suggested women can't make ends meet without a man, he essentially called men who support Trump deadbeats.  He should have just come out and called them cucks, and been done with it.

I heard tale of a feller named Alex Jones who rode into town to challenge a young Turk named Cenk. Alex got off his horse and stared at the young Turk fer awhile. Then he motioned for his guns real slow and smooth like and said, "Draw, mister."

In yet another stunning display of leadership competence and the ability to run a tight ship, Trump's acceptance speech has been leaked by his team.

To the Democrats.

Hillary backing Super PAC Correct the Record released the full speech to the press a full 15 minutes before Team Trump itself released excerpts in a press release.

Bah.  I liked the rumble with the dude carrying Mao's little Red Book better.    This was weak.

On the other hand, was the young lady in the black dress the one that he was swinging with and
ended up leading to his divorce?

Funny stuff. So what was the backstory? Was Stone or Alex supposed to be a guest or did they invade the show? And I thought that Muslim host (by Islamic law I know he claims he is not one now) was going to have a heart attack. He does have cute staff and interns though. That network is like the opposite of Fox. Puts the bad or odd looking ones on the screen.
