This thread has good musical taste.  :D

I concur.

Alan Parson Project - Tales of Mystery & Imagination is one of my absolute favorites. Have it on vinyl but missing the Orson Welles bits.

Weddings are horrible.  I am being honest here when I say that.  Even mine.  It seemed good but was awful in hindsight.   I've been a groomsman or best man in several weddings.  Horrible!   My divorce was better than 5 minutes of any wedding.  Ugh!  ;D
Worst is being picked as an usher or, even worse, the guy to park cars or direct parking.

Get back to work 😎

Amy - once you start tearing your hair out over the Unity UI, Elementary OS will set you free.

How about Wolfman goes and fucks himself..  >:(

Zenman

Cool. Actually wouldn't mind a regular intermediate range tech segment nightly. And a whole night on it once in a while would be fine here.

ShayP

I did try to call but nothing happened.  No dial tone.  My counter was working so I thought I was connected.  :'(

Zenman

We are lovely.  ;D

Great guest, great show and great host.

And great Gabbers.

Awesome. I've been looking at different options for window managers.

Sorry Shay. That was my fault. Network connection went out on the iPad and I didn't open up line 2 (other Skype line).

I'm my own worst enemy sometimes.

Would like to maybe bring on a rotating guest for an occasional tech segment. Could be a whole-nother show though!

As for dual booting, it's fairly easy. Follow this guide. Pretty much the same for Win 8.1 and 7 with Disk Manager.

If you ever need tech help (that goes for anybody), feel free to call me.

I dated an IT worker for worked for some major Silicon Valley companies. Her big secret: Googling it.  :P

"LMGTFY"

But no. It's one part "if I don't know the answer to that I'll look it up," one party theory, and another part just knowing the products.
Have a god-awful amount of technical certs I had to go through. Only thing I'm really lacking which would be good to have sometime is CIISP, though I have no interest in ever working in IT again.  ;D

Don't misunderstand me. She knew what she was doing too but it just kinda blew my mind when she revealed to me that 80-90% of her problems were solved that way or through various tech social media and networks.  ;)

Just a quick heads up. Haven't received her short bio and pic info yet to post to the site, but wanted to let everyone know that TONIGHT we will have on Candace Liger to discuss all things related to fitness. She and I used to work together at tech company name redacted in IT for imaging support.

Aside from fitness, she's a renowned beat poet and holds the title as Dallas World Poetry Slam Champion.
She was head of the dance team for the Memphis Xplorers as well as several other collegiate-level teams.

We may also talk about AFRO|DG|AK - a burlesque-type erotic dance thing she hosts from time to time.

Just to clarify --- will be bringing on Candace during the top of the second hour for hours two and three.

Will be discussing news and taking open lines calls during hour one.

(424) 253- 0632 | skype amyontheradio

If you can't get through there during hour 1, try (424) 253-0301 or skype AOTR2

Last night apparently we had some calls on the main line which didn't show up, as Apple devices suddenly lost access on my local network.
(I take main-line calls over my iPad). Odd. Anywho, the second line will be tied up during hours 2 and 3 with our guest.

So if you have any troubles getting through, please let me know on Twitter or the Satellite.

Can you link the physics paper you were just talking about? I just got here and only heard the tail end of that.

Hello kid. Nice jacket. What's up, Doc?
