What attitude?  "Culture of being in other people's business."  I'm not in anybodies business.  Quite frankly if you think the example I put out there is justified then I think you have a problem.  Maybe some doctors rush through things and just give the prescription just to get the patient out of there?  Us that not possible?

I'm not denying that the problem of over-prescription happens but the real problem is that we've found nothing else as effective for real pain management than the milk of the poppy. I wish there was. 

Speaking of, who else is looking forward to the new season of GOT?

We all have to make choices and live with the consequences.  I'd had enough experiences with other things to know this was different.  I'm pretty sure in my case I was right.  Others might have no issues.

None of this explains you out of what to me seems a logical contradiction.  If you don't want to take codeine, what's the harm of having it on the shelf?  And if you do want to take it, shouldn't it be on the shelf?
