Lol hes the head of the fucking network, maybe not on  paper but do we all really think that keith is capable of independent thoughts, Art groomed him to be a super cuck.

Doubling down and going 5 hours is an interesting decision. They clearly have nothing to lose from it. The die-hard facebook crowd will eat it up, but I doubt it will do anything to accrue new subscribers.

The logical answer would be to extend the program to Saturdays and have Art handle that night every week. He could spend all week with family, do one show, then sleep in and enjoy his Sunday with family once more. Plus, there's a big demand for live radio content on the weekend that isn't about gardening or fishing.

I think most people who unsubscribed (myself included), would re-up just for that, and at the current price it would still be a good value for the week's worth of content (even the trainwreck John Titor type episodes).

The people need to be thrown a bone if you want them to support your endeavor. It's not rocket science.

Do you actually think Art listens to this? Can't he hear how bad it gets? I know he used to read this stuff here too -- does he think it's not constructive to see that 5 hours is a terrible idea. It should have been cut to two -- if not cut out all together.  Maybe he's shielded somehow.  If he tuned in to any other network and listened to the same thing, he'd turn it off...he's too good to not hear how bad this is.

This whole friggin episode, launching MITD, hiring redacted, quitting, etc, has been so fucked up. I'm tempted to believe that it was s set up all along. Maybe she is Arts long lost love child.

Have to do a C2C style "split show" format and get more than one guest each night, which makes the producer/tech part even more trouble. Because simply two more hours of the same callers or her speculation on stuff? And I doubt many guests would be able to spend 5 hours on a single show.

She had on Seth Shostak a couple weeks ago. That was actually a really good show, in my opinion. But Seth is one of those wind up and let 'em roll kind of interviewees, he kind of interviews himself. Someone else pointed out that in some ways she actually was an improvement over Art in that Art always had a kind of resentment attitude toward Seth for being a UFO denier. She was more jovial with him and it did seem less uncomfortable, IMHO.

I would like to see Neil deGrasse Tyson again but I'm not sure he'd do it. I still have the recorded show with Art, that was another one of my favorite shows on MITD.
