And she has been doing a damn fine job of it while under tremendous pressure and difficult circumstances. She can be on my team anytime. She has shown herself to be a real team player. She quit her job to be a producer. Not to be a fucking goalie for everybody throwing darts at Art.

I've thought this many times.  It's extremely rare to find anyone with the kind of tenacity, resilience, and loyalty that she's demonstrated.  A handful of people like that working together can forge an empire.  But between Keith's hissy fits, and Art on the bench, she's the only one left putting her best foot forward to save the team.  I admire her passion, but I lament her position.

She quit her job to do a job.  Then she basically got, at the most, 24 hours notice to make a choice. Shut it down or try hosting. WTF did you expect her to do?  IMHO she has been getting better with each show. She will never be Art Bell. She pisses me off when she talks about man made global warming. She pisses me off when she disses Trump.  But you know what?  She is still better than C2C. I wasn't going to listen tonight because I've never seen the X-Files. That doesn't mean I don't want her to succeed.

24 hours to make a decision makes the whole thing that much dumber. They could have run replays for a short time while they regrouped and figured out what to do with the show. Every time you peel the onion, there's another absurd layer underneath.

She's as good as most other paranormal show hosts.  In some cases better.  Chase Kloezke's Mufon show is pretty pathetic, the ghost show with the British woman talking through a tin can and a couple of old dudes is ridiculous.  There are plenty of crap shows out there and mitd isn't one of them.  But everyone's here for Art. Or they WERE here for Art.  But now it's become more fun to talk shit about Art & Heather or whoever because the hype & buildup around Art's return was pretty significant.
