I hope we never go to war with those people...I've never seen so many people walk away unscathed from mortal collisions...

I've been keeping tabs on the Russian military action in Syria. It's pretty crazy. Sometimes things don't work as well as they might have hoped, but they'll certainly go all in.

I want Food Network to bring back Iron Chef just for a challenge with Chaga as the theme ingredient.

It is True !

I saw some type of canine in the Big Thicket down here while hunting. If that thing had stood up it could have been mistaken for a bigfoot. It was the weirdest animal I ever saw. The closest thing I could describe it as is a Great Pyrennes crossed with a Great Dane crossed with a Chow. I was afraid to get out of my deer stand, but I definitely got out of the sawmp before it got dark.

Not the best testing grounds but can be useful . The Germans did that out of necessity !

The only positive thing one can say about idiots like Salas is that you have to respect their ability to retain such a massive amount of bullshit in their heads and continue to spew it out on shows like this without tripping over themselves too much.  They must have a 10,000 page book of bullshit that they constantly study and memorize to keep all their lies in some semblance of order.

That looks a heck of a lot like what Israel was doing in Gaza a few years back.

Rough stuff.  It burns right through thick clothing then burns right through the skin to the bone.

Jesus...talk about "scorched earth"...the blanket of fire that stuff lays down makes napalm look like itching powder.  The invasion of Iraq was the most catastrophic blunder since Vietnam, and about 100x more calamitous.

Indeed, though I think the Russians are finally starting to figure out that small and well-trained is the right way to go with an army these days. They haven't gotten there yet, but they seem to be aware of it.

she has been harping on Lazar lately

This was about 20 years ago, maybe 25. That cypress swamp was one spooky place.
