Hey everybody.

Hi SciFi.  I really dig your latest avatar.  What is that, a dolphin?

K_Dubb

I wonder if these whistleblowers got a cruise.

Hi James!  What is going on in this particular place?
Just listening and being entertained by Our Brother and Sister Gabbers as usual . Seems mostly chill so far !

I love the conjecture about Eisenhower.

And we all know Nixon was a hubrid.
Wasn't it July 1952 when the UFOs buzzed the White House when Truman was still in Office? I saw a short documentary that was made shortly after that incident that supposedly showed the actual radar screens and air traffic controllers and pilot transcripts.  Maybe nothing to it but was interesting based on the fact it was filmed before all the official denial policy was in place

Damn, hopefully someone has it. I think a photo would help grow her listener base, assuming she is not hideous

Yes. That is something I haven't spent much time on, but it is eerie. And plausible!

It is indeed a dolphin. In fact, it's my very first avatar from when I joined a couple years ago.

Hopefully she asks him about the prawns.

Reminds me that I need to finish my screenplay about an attack by a horde of zombie shrimp. I call it "Prawn of the Dead."

I've heard a little about the idea of the "island of stability, but really haven't had the chance to do a lot of studying up on it. I'd like to know more about what properties the elements on the "island" might have, and what they could be used for.

You and the world.  Until we can synthesize elements on the island, there isn't much we can know about them.

Although, one thing we know is that superheavy elements tend toward a dumbell-shaped nucleus.  What's interesting about that, is that a dumbell undergoing minor-axis rotation emits gravitational radiation - that's why binary stars are good gravity wave emitters.  But given the conservation laws of quantum mechanical nuclear phenomena, if such nucleii emit gravitational radiation, then when such a nucleus is in its ground state, it can't propagate that energy.  So we may discover a stable evanescent gravitational wave energy oscillating around the nucleus.  If so, there may a way to focus that energy to generate a polarized gravitational field, without expending any energy.  That's my personal and highly speculative thinking on the subject, but it's based on quantum mechanics and general relativity.

It could be decades before we learn more.  There are proposals for building the type of new reactors we'd need, but they haven't been funded AFAIK.

The Vril Society had nothing to do w communication w extraterrestrials, unless "extraterrestrial" be taken to mean all "strangers" or "unknown beings".

Usually that is how they get to there . A few Hottie German Frau and some rich dudes in the 1910's through early 30's . Much assumed and only a few pamplets to prove there was ever such a thing . But Alien dudes always pull a Godwynn argument !

Excellent.  Can I offer you a suggestion for a follow-up movie?  Okay, so in the first one clearly your plot will involve the prawns attacking humans?  So how about in the sequel, the human zombies launch a counter-attack against the prawns.

You can call it "Preyin' on the Prawn".
