Someone over there posted that Bellgab was "in full civil war."  I'm somewhat new to forumming; is this what a civil war feels like?

The people who always bitched are still bitching, the people who always talk about themselves are still talking about themselves, Heather's show thread (about which Art was complaining) isn't really any worse than Art's own.

The only real divide that matters in business terms is between those who kept and those who cancelled their subscriptions, and I don't see any name-calling between these factions.

If this is civil war I'm very disappointed.  I expect carnage.

Nope.  No body bags.  no war.

Do you ever not motospeak?

If he is/was in the military; I understand, it's the most direct form of communication. Some SM's  (service members) are "dum dum's."  :)

It just reminds me of a 1stSgt who only has self motivation left because his unit is constantly letting him down. No offense to paladin.

MemeMagic, former military? I'm a retired Army Sergent; I don't care if BellGab is, 'dress right dress.' Fuck it!  We're a product of our leadership...

Indeed.
I didn't cancel my subscription but at least I want a show.
Any show.

At least finding this forum has some solace.
Actually better than some of the shows were. :(

It's so unlike them, over at DMDN, to leave us here, with nothing to do, but speculate... wildly.

As if that happens? This is a respectable forum with mild mannered and level headed occupants inmates, who consider all aspects before posting their thesis drivel.

I found "Late Night in the Midlands" and listened for a couple of hours yesterday (after hearing about Michael Vera's "rant") and was incredibly impressed with all of the ingredients.  So, I went back to listen to the "Red Pill Conspiracy" tonight and the website won't even load...  Argh!

By the way, when I say "ingredients" I mean, voice, sound quality, use of the language, no "pause words," good phrasing and articulation.  Just like Art, Bruce Williams (Money Talk) and, to a much lesser extent, Paul Harvey.  Now, any band could use a Hofner bass, a Rickenbacker 325, a Tennessee Rose Gretsch and a set of Ludwigs but only one band can be the Beatles.  So, with all those show qualities, I still will be seeking the "Art Bell Standard."

5 "uh's and one so just in the first 60 seconds of "the rant" Micheal Vara is not the articulate voice you make him out to be, but why are you posting here? Why not in the Late Night in the Midlands thread Sean?

We should all host the show and just spend the entire time talking over each other.
