Why doesn't Heather take on a co-host?  Seriously.  Think about it.  It works on many levels.  It takes the heat off her to do an entire show herself.  It gets someone else in there with another array of experience and knowledge and skills.  It livens things up a bit.  Why not?

As usual, any of my wonderful ideas should be followed up with adequate compensation.  Please.  lol   

Some would see taking on a co-host as agreeing that she isn't progressing/ready to take on a program all by herself, and that co-host could be seen as a crutch in order to fill out her deficiencies, and that someone more adept would definitely quickly leave her in the dust if they were to choose someone with more experience to help her guide the show.

I don't see that working unless the two hosts are in the same room.  Listening to people talking over each other is a sure-fire way to lose listenership.  When there isn't an eye-to-eye contact thing (non-verbals), the tendency to go into clusterfuck mode is much higher.

ok i will concede that this show,and the guest are not very good.Note that not every Art Bell show was a 4 star experience.In fact many were terrible and Art would get pissed,Bellgab would flood with negative comments .Case closed.Heather is not a great cynic.I have to evaluate people every day,and other people who have similar jobs develop a precise BS reader.Heather has to-and i think she will-become more cynical.Guests can say anything-Prove it should be the point.In response to the posts that suggest Art is not being honest about the events-sorry i look at the SUM TOTAL of the story and believe Art TOTALLY.  Just so you will know-- if a person relates a story the SAME EXACT WAY each time that person is more likely lying than a person who has subtle changes in the story.Another well documented fact in criminal and non criminal cases is that 2 or more people can see the SAME EVENT and relate what they saw VERY DIFFERENTLY! Look at the sum total of the events and draw your own conclusions. What pisses me off is that Troll comments hurt people deeply-ergo Arts leaving this forum.Its too bad all these comments stay in print forever and there is little legal liability.

Man do I understand the instinctive compulsion to talk sense to people when they're totally deluded about something.  But, at least in this case, it's hopeless; they're absolutely invested in "the latest conspiracy theory."  And they don't care how hurtful it is for anyone.

Best to just become acquainted with the "ignore user" function on your profile, and start entering names.  It makes it waaay easier to enjoy the myriad clever posters here and have a happier experience overall.  Good luck
