Well whatever he makes from the podcast and C2C even as a fill in probably comparable to MITD. Admittedly its a sinking ship and will only get worse without a stroke of luck. His podcast audience (90% ghosts/hauntings) will not necessarily follow if MITD has typical content. Basically both KR and Schrader are taking a big risk.

But I would point back to the PunnetTweet where Punnett says he knows who the new MITD host is. Does he or has he ever had any relationship with Keith? If not I don't think he'd have a way of knowing that, thus Schrader.

Also it is not a coincidence George shows up here the day before the MITD new host takes the mic to insinuate he already knows who the host is and George refers to the new host as 'him'.



I doubt that tonight's C2C announcement of a new guest host is a coincidence either. Sure the announcement was inevitably coming soon but George moved that timing up.
Also if George had planned to make that announcement tonight, and he knew about it earlier today when he was here, he would have alluded to it.
It was a decision he made after chatting here.

There is a few other things like Bateman saying it was Dave days ago. He has his contacts within radio and he probably reached out to some of those to find out who it was.
I would not be surprised if Noory had leaked it to Bateman. But that is very high speculation by me, just a gut instinct.
Also Schrader would have denied it by now if he wasn't. His twitter replies have been interesting. It is not like him to be ambiguous and coy about it.

You'd think if him then a first guest would be someone he's more familiar with. Micah Hanks has discussed it. It's a Knapp topic. What's a Keith topic? Let's move it up to a 2% not-Schrader.

As I remember, Cotterell wanted to micro-manage the entire interview. Instead of the usual C2C thing of providing a list of questions for the host, he provided a script and Punnett was expected to simply read his lines. When Punnett tried to nudge him off-topic it all went pear-shaped.

I asked Knapp back in July 2015 if he would ever be a guest host on the then Art Bell hosted MITD.

Knapp has always replied via direct messages over twitter. Very approachable guy. I had an interesting exchange with him after Tom DeLonge's To The Stars thing came out. I was asking about his role in it all. That stuff is kind of too private to post about though.
