Richard Syrett.

Is Richard the C2C weekend host that John Lear had near tears on air when he told him "if you've seen one, you've been on one" in regards to UFO's (Jim also claimed the moon in inhabited by Bigfoots in that episode)?  This episode was from 4 or 5 years ago.

But he's not "in the desert". That's why I'm thinking it's Knapp.

It's not even midnight in the desert when it airs. It doesn't have to be literal, I don't think.

On your radio dial, like Madison Square Garden or Liquid Ivory Snow.

Exactly. I'm over the whole "is it haunted?" approach for ghosts, as an example. I say ok, fine, if it is...why, and what does that mean? And why does one person experience it and not another? We've been trying a flawed approach of trying to quantify what I feel is not a physical phenomena, but an emotional one.

Good luck with that.  To my knowledge that approach is more-or-less confined to academia; I've wondered how it would play in Peoria.  People get so hung up on whether it is real.  Ideas are real.

MV/Liberace!

Hey guys, I seriously don't think it's Dave. My guess now is MV.
It's me.

We argue about it on-air and on investigations. I lecture on it, too, and sometimes I think I'm going over their heads. Sorry, folks, I'm not spending hours making a power point just to explain the difference between residual and intelligent haunts, like they talked about on "Ghost Hunters" 15 years ago. I've moved beyond that, and so should you

Richard Syrett.

He's scheduled for next Friday's Coast so I doubt it.  It is not Knapp for sure.  Jimmy Church has his own show.  I'm stumped.  Guess we will know tomorrow and I have a feeling a lot of people are going to be mad at Rowland this time tomorrow night.

Robert

Quote from: Faustina on May 06, 2018, 11:31:04 PMI think alien life does exist in another galaxy and they could be far more advanced than we are, hence UFOs.
If they were that advanced, they wouldn't have UFOs, or FOs of any kind.

If you ever encounter an entity that claims to have flown here in an object from another planet (let alone galaxy), you can be sure they're lying.  Suppose you flew there; would you tell them the truth?

Who has the rights to the Crystal Gale song?

I'm about 98% sure now it's Dave Shrader.

Do you do YOUTUBE at all? ... what the hell kind of question is that?

I may be wrong, but I thought Art mentioned once he was given the rights to use that song in perpetuity.

Wouldn't the same logic apply for Schrader too? Why would he step down from a nationaly syndicated show for unknown internet gig?

Fair point but I think Schrade's got a different calculus going on.  :)

Which means his rights to the name of that song die with him?

Yeah, she gave him the right to play it anytime he wanted.  However she still owns the song.

I would assume so. But when you think you're the legacy, maybe you think you are entitled to the same

SpookyTim

I'm not saying it's right. I just wouldn't be surprised if Heather tries to use it.

No no LOL, you're referencing one of the wildest weirdest funniest shows ever.  The dude's name was Reuben something I believe.  He was never back after then.  No Syrett is the mellow Canadian.  He's pretty chill and an ok guy as far as I'm concerned.

That just means the right to play the song royalty free.  Crystal Gayle doesn't even own 100% of the song writing credits or the publishing.

Keith must own the show name, why else would HW have changed the name of what she claimed was HER show.  Crystal wrote the song with 2 other writers, so maybe they would have some ownership too.  The whole thing is crazy.

True, & time to test some of that reality.  How about some blinded ghost investig'n results?  We know how to do systematic blinding in much of psi research, why not ghosts & hauntings?  Some ghost hunters do use blinding, but unfortunately only w low power, because of the resources available to them.

Oh I could have sworn it was Richard.lmfao.. But whoever that was.. That episode was one of the best non-Art C2C episodes.. I was literally LOL'ing at the guy taking Lear seriously enough to be having a panic attack on air thinking he'd been abducted.

It's me.

That's why when Keith announced he had picked a new host the other day,  you tweeted, keep it a secret to build suspense....You sly son of a bitch! That's why you're up now,  prepping for your new late night gig.
