Yes!  So glad they dropped the closing theme.  Thank you!  We're starting over, peeps .. a new beginning.   8)

Did any ask if he was going to do unscreened open lines?

Grifynne

Well, having listened to all of the first show (when I didn't plan to), I have to say I am pleasantly surprised and look forward to hearing more of the new and improved MitD.

Dave has a great sense of humor. Love the attention he’s giving to bellgab. I wouldn’t be surprised if he called in to a gabcast at some point.

We're relevant again! I like being special

Faustina

Excellent first show!  I presume it will only get better from here on out.  I hope he will share some details about his life with us:  that is one of the things I so loved about Art.  It made him seem like a friend.

Ive never heard Schrader before. I didn't listen to noory, so there wasn't a reason to. For his first night out on this program, I think he did fine.
Im thinkin', the further he gets into this, the better he'll get. When they finally get around to taking calls, that should add to the dynamics.
I'll give Dave a shot, and see where it goes. HW was very hard to listen to, so I gave up. No noory, and no Wade. Thank god for radio Havanna.

Ha...I actually pic that up on my SW radio.

Fantastic first show Dave, please work "cuck shed" into a news item tomorrow and I will subscribe.

He said he would do them once the equipment was installed

Damn, I didn't want this to end.

I'd like him to downshift to Syrett speed.  But overall at least he speaks well and strikes me as genuine.

Yes, you do have to kind of listen to the guy because he does talk kind of fast.  I guess that isn't a bad thing though, having to listen.

Though based there, I guess, he is not Minnesota born or raised.

I think 3 hours is perfect...

This was a good show.

Faustina

Only thing I didn't like was the music.  Surely they can do better than that.  It's too perky, for one.

I feel less downcast. Nice beginnings again. Night all

She said she wanted everyone to do well when she was on with Joe though!

But don’t forget: send hate messages to any guest host.

I agree.  Leave them wanting more, right?

He's been doing radio for years and years. I don't see him changing. This is just his style.

They might be cost cutting on the license...I know I would until the revenue increased to justify it.

I had to swing the antenna to the southeast, but most nights they roll in with a strong signal.

Well-done, Dave.

Indeed.  I'm wondering.....

too long.  Miss ART, but this was good.  Very good.

I actually like that ambient instrumental music.  It kind of sets a mood and is different.  I really don't need any more classic rock at this point.  I do agree it was a little too peppy, maybe something a little more downtempo next time.
