It is just very sad.  Something lost on the Internet generation is that just because you can talk and ask questions doesn't mean anyone wants to listen to you.  Gone are the days when the professionals sound professional.   This is like listening to a college radio program, and not a particularly good one.  I thought people were too hard on her the first time around, but she's had time to improve.  Or not.  I'm hoping Art will come back on -- and is reading these posts -- but suspect this will be the last time I tune in if this is the show.

You're right, I was a major market radio announcer when people were held to very high standards and plenty were waiting to take your place if you didn't keep it up.   Today having to endure the sudden flood of amateurs to hear interviews with interesting people is a big let down.  I'd bet Heather is a very nice person, but she's not even at college level and I don't think gets what the things to work on are.  And even if she did, you don't practice a couple months and reprogram all your mind's sentence construction habits and tone.

Art, thanks for the last 5 months it was nice to hear you again  and though it was short it brought back a lot of good memories and you sounded just as good as the glory days.
