another thing grinding my gears is morons who call AR-15 rifles.. assault rifles.  or any military/tactical looking rifle an "assault rifle".
Most civilians do not have access to select fire rifles, which is what an assault rifle is.  Civilians mainly have semi-auto rifles. To get fully auto firearms requires $$ and lots of paperwork.  So it is highly unlikely anyone who is a law abiding citizen is using his fully auto "assault rifle" to do any mass shootings.
Criminals easily get fully automatic firearms. Very easily.

I don't understand why we don't use all this "stuff" that we supposedly have? Of course I've given up thinking the current occupant or government really cares about the country, if so why wouldn't the first thing to be secured be a border and visitors/immigrants, Bush? Obama? But I would hope at least local LEOs etc would use all this surveillance and stuff? Obviously I'm against the police state but, since we have it, couldn't we at least use it sometimes against actual bad guys?
