San Bernardino Shooting Update â€" The police are currently looking for three unidentified males adorned in “military clothing” and wearing body armor who may have fled the Inland Regional Center in an SUV after the mass shooting. A robot is being used to investigate and then detonate, a suspicious device found inside building two. There are three buildings at the complex, buildings one and three have been cleared. The mass shooting began around 11 a.m. local time â€" about one hour ago. All three men remain at large and are believed to have been wearing masks and carrying semi-automatic rifles.

At least when it was done before they were trying to get  money from a bank. Why attack some social services center for disabled/austic/etc unless it was a disgruntled employee, one of the unbalanced who might have been a patient, etc- in which case would usually be solo attack and not well-planned egress. So terrorism, or....dare I say it....false flag (ok someone had to because I'm sure Alex Jones etc are saying it.) Or, more likely, there was some other reasons: there is some report that a conference center was rented out but none of the news will say by whom? That would make more sense as a motive depending who what group was renting the rooms? If there were 3 shooters there was a conspiracy and planning and since it is not a bank I want to know who had rented out the conference center.

I think under the laws we have these days almost anything is considered "terrorism" certainly 3 people conspiring  to shoot up a regional center would qualify. Though I tend we over-use the terrorist stuff and it should be used when the acts are politically/religiously motivated, there could be some other motive going. There are enough "normal" crimes on the books to prosecute these kind of things. I want to know who rented out the buildings. Though it could just be the usual Muslim stuff I'm thinking there is something else going on.

The person or persons who opened fire inside of a San Bernardino building Wednesday morning began shooting inside of a conference room where a party was being held, federal law enforcement sources and a witness told the Los Angeles Times.

12:13 p.m. - Riverside police dispatchers have broadcast a general advisory that the suspects involved in the shootings in San Bernardino may have fled in a black GMC Yukon, heading northbound on Waterman Avenue, roughly 40 minutes ago.

The broadcast indicated there were unconfirmed reports the suspects were male and of Middle Eastern origin, “armed with AK-47s and wearing body armor.”

Was over relatively quickly, I guess, and the twitter-verse, White House, and media was all over it making up for lack of BG coverage. Even calling it the PP Shooting when the police said didn't know motive and the incident involved several properties and the nutjob claimed to be a 'self-identified woman' on his voting registration paperwork. And I still think it was related to the Soup Place nearby.

There's so many wacky reports right now of both middle eastern and white origin for the shooters, I'm not going to post anything else until an official story is figured out.

To me it's clearly a well organized terrorist attack regardless if it's white or muslim folks. It's utterly strange to me to watch people immediately try to break it down into a political thing. Bodies aren't even cold yet.

Washington (CNN)President Barack Obama reiterated his call for more gun control reforms in the wake of the reported mass shooting in San Bernardino, California.

Speaking to CBS News, Obama said Congress should act in a bipartisan manner to close loopholes, including one that allows people on the TSA no-fly list to legally purchase firearms.

"There are steps we can take to make Americans safer," he said. "We should never think this is something that just happens in the normal course of events."

Obama said the pattern of U.S. mass shootings "has no parallel anywhere else in the world."

It was a Health Dept holiday party that rented out the rooms at the regional center. So unless there is some other weirdness I don't see motive besides terrorism (though it is not beyond individuals to target several to take out one, which makes it harder for the police to find real motive and hence perps.) But what does the Health Dept do that would make someone use such ruthless tactics?

Never let a tragedy go to waste. Maybe if we lessened our carbon emissions it would stop these things (assuming it is terrorism related?) That is what I learned from COP21 in Paris (which never has had terrorism or mass shootings due to their strong guns laws.)
