Lear got cut off when he had a falling out with his father right before he went woo woo. I always thought his disclosure thing was a F you at his dad.

Me too.  He uses the Lear name to gain credibility, but at the same time resents his father and is desperate to step out of his shadow.  He craves the attention he gets from being the 'disclosure' guy.  That's my take.

gotcha'... I know Heather has a soft spot for that track... it just draws you in from the first two bars of the intro and holdsyou through to the chorus... not to diss... but the track you site does have a chorus that pays-off, but staggering through that verse and b-section is arduous (for me)...

This IS my favorite Art Bell topic--bar none.  Dr. Long's site is filled with inspiring stories, and Jodi has helped me contact one or two experiencers with questions.

I'm a true believer as far as NDEs go, but I know there are some that are people who want attention who make this stuff up because it's so popular now.  It seems to me that, not so much that they're all similar, but that they are all SO different, with so many different possible layers or realms.

To me, the body of NDE research proves two things beyond any reasonable doubt 1. that consciousness is non-local and 2. that consciousness is connected.

It was a great show...we need Dannion on!
