good brother uncle Duke, it has nothing to do with the guest content, I was merely trying to beat Art to the punch line, but I give him credit, he's sticking with the drop offs tonight.

You missed it...I agree with you.  Art is owning the tech problems on his own network, but ditched SXM over tech problems a few years ago.  When it's your money invested, your tolerence of acceptable v. unacceptable changes.

Geez...I step out for one smoke and ...blammo...everything has gone to hell when I get back!

The phone calls...they're not going to be good.  Should be entertaining. :D

... I would have stabbed my eardrums long ago...

Eardrum stabbing is a sin.  Although a forgivable sin if you were listening to Dave...

I have never understood why people can't handle listening to differing opinions, even if you know they're bs. I can listen to anything without being bothered. If it was otherwise I would have stabbed my eardrums long ago.

A representative of a religion of one is just not that interesting to listen to in comparison to a religion of a billion. This is boredom talking, not disagreement. An actual ordained catholic priest is needed for this subject.

I don't understand it either Aldous.  Viva la differences!!

You just said more anal sex occurs in the straight community than it does in the gay community per capita. I think you take the cake.

It does on a planetary basis. Do you ever check anything out? The world is not the USA, which holds only a tiny percentage of the world's population.

Well, say what you will about the format, I'm loving the AAC stream far more than the AM from back in the day.  Bumper music is the shiznit tonight on my home speaker system.

I will refer to myself! But only because you and uncle were one of the few many replied positively to a comment by me. haha. And you (and me) make a good point.

People can't stand to be told they don't know everything. In my experience those who like to yell about tolerance are by far the least.

It's not surprising that a religious guest would arouse the masses but the level of anger here tonight is unexpected.  You know how it is when people discuss religion.  People get angry about it because it offends them or their belief system or they have an anger or resentment toward God or whatever.  Religion is always a touchy subject.

RE: Paranormal State case

I hate to admit it . . . . I agree with him on this . . . .  :-\

However, many paranormal investigators do factor in emotional and environmental issues. We just don't have TV shows . . . .

Paranormal State?  That was the one with the kids whose leader kept a "James T Kirk" log?  Silly show.

I have a problem with a guest who lies to malign an entire group of people, i.e., gay people. Then Art says nothing! NOTHING!  This is not just the viewpoint of a deranged loon. This is dangerous talk for simple minds, e.g., that treating gay people equally in secular society equates to forcing everyone to have gay sex! Give me a fucking break!  :(

Matthew the Sunday school teacher is a poor substitute for JC.

I grew up around LBGTQBBQNHLNFL folks. I've had Gay business partners. And some gay folks greatly helped me in my early career and my life. I've marched in gay rights marches. I've been egged by homophobic rednecks outside of gay bars hanging with friends. I genuinely want to punch homophobic people in the face. You can be grossed out or not agree with it. But to want to deny them equal rights or equal freedom in society is akin to 21st century Jim Crow/Evil to me.

But this guy has every right to speak and espouse his stupid bullshit.
