ManiacMatt

Ken Ham is a joke and there is evidence of macro evolution.

He is using shitty free wifi from a far range. We take a dig a Blanche and invite this scumbag back? Bleh. This has been my least favorite guest. I really hoped for an exorcism show. Oh well, there is always tomorrow. Even a bad guest on Art is still better than any OTHER SHOW on. 8)

i agree RT

Some gay person at Skype cannot handle any thought that contradicts his or her own...
Some right winger at Skype who is disappointed that he has not called for the execution of gays.

I enjoyed the show, honestly.  The constant Skype disconnections made it painful, though.

I will take a stab at it for you.  Leviticus 19:19 “You shall keep my statutes. You shall not let your cattle breed with a different kind. You shall not sow your field with two kinds of seed, nor shall you wear a garment of cloth made of two kinds of material."

If you shall not wear a garment of cloth made of two kinds of material, your choices are VERY limited.  No linen with Wool, no synthetics at all.  There are still some ultraorthodox Jews who will actually send their suits in to be tested and looked at under microscopes.  If it fails, they will not wear it.  For them, you can find a link here.  For Christians, I think most have discarded the commandment (hence the question of why father Ashcraft chooses to ignore it...) http://www.beingjewish.com/mitzvos/shatnez.html

OK, I get what he was saying now.  Isn't that like asking a Christian if he eats cheeseburgers?  Any Jew who keeps kosher would never do that.

Bradsmith313

Think I'll watch the Spanish language version of Dracula . . . .
Does anyone have any popcorn?

Chronaut

I think Sneorge has got this Christianity thing covered in spades - let's stick with interesting subjects from here on out.

If they do another show together then Art needs to make damn sure that he uses a telephone.

Finding a real Priest might not be a bad idea either, for a next time round.

Thanx Art😀 alOoOoOoOhaz earthlingz 🍄🍄🍄

Looks like she's standing behind some card-board boxes that are stacked about to her waist/crotch area...

At least that's what it looks like to my eye.
Well, I looked closer (with my nose almost against the computer screen) :) and you may be right. Hmm....so I wonder what Popple is seeing.

Probably, but it is an obscure reference to a verse that almost nobody follows anymore (millions eat Kosher or Halal.)  I doubt that there are more than a few thousand people in the entire world who take care to wear a 100% wool jacket and have it tested for contaminants.  Perhaps the father is a vegetarian, but I guarantee that he is wearing mixed fabrics.  Just funny...

Some people pull out other Leviticus versus such as killing misbehaving children and the likes to make the same point.

Christians believe that as Jesus is the fulfillment of the Law, Christians are not bound by the regulations of the Law, such as the dietary regulations.

Faustina

Whew, glad that's over.  Need Hoagland for some light relief now.

Father Jack Ashcraft didn't impress me much.  Not very smart, nor very articulate.  Art, keep looking:   Father Jack isn't the Catholic priest you seek as a semi-regular on MITD.

Fair point.  Thanks for the explanation.

Braapmaster H would have slapped that clown down.

(Can't believe I'm favoring RCH over Art.)

Faustina

Also, there wasn't nearly enough about demons and exorcisms to satisfy me tonight.  I didn't get that delicious spooky feeling at all during this show.
