KMKMKM

Think it's time for Art to chalk this show up as a loss and go to open lines for the last hour.  I'm assuming Jack's internet connection is bad.

You are consistent, I'll give you that.

good brother uncle Duke, it has nothing to do with the guest content, I was merely trying to beat Art to the punch line, but I give him credit, he's sticking with the drop offs tonight.

I miss traditional telephone calls.  Worse quality but more consistent.

If MitD is a Democracy, this has my vote...

Or at least take some calls so people can ask the priest some questions.  Bladerunner style.

doctor weird

im honestly hoping the good fathers Skype gets disconnected, and stays that way..

Seems that way to me. Apparently as generous as the Lord is he isn't generous enough to provide the good father a proper internet connection.
we shoud pray for him😒

I think skype is pretty consistent, this guy is probably still using ADSL though.

Callers are going to rip this guy a new asshole in the third hour. Might as well keep him on and let the callers have at him.

Hopefully Michelle, the trans lady calls in.

We should do a mass consciousness experiment. Or more appropriately, a mass prayer experiment. Ready? Go...

If two men want to have a sword fight, have at it but if you want a gay cake, find a gay baker. Cultural Marxism be damned!

Father Jack Ashcraft.
RE: Paranormal State case

I hate to admit it . . . . I agree with him on this . . . .  :-\

However, many paranormal investigators do factor in emotional and environmental issues. We just don't have TV shows . . . .

There were Skype issues in last night's OSOM show as well.

i thought there was gonna be more talk on exorcisms

You get an amen from me on that.

SciFiAuthor

I'd be okay with this interview if the guy was an actual Roman Catholic or Orthodox Priest. But he's not, and he's having Skype issues, and I'm ready for open lines too.

The more I listen to MITD the more Art feels so... out of touch? Dated? There are still great moments of comedy, but it's not how I remember. Maybe because I am older (but only in my 30s)? Maybe entertainment has just changed? Maybe it's awful guest fatigue? But Art's views just seem too old fashion for me to get the same enjoyment. The world has changed and has passed Art by. It's good that he believes gays should have marriage rights but his statement of how he doesn't agree with it just made me roll my eyes.

I really want to like this show. But maybe my tastes are changing? I mean I enjoy Hoagland's nonsense. Art just seems... I don't know.

I'm not trying to pick on you, but I just wanted to point something out to you that maybe you will think about. I am lock step with you that this guest is an ass for his homophobia BS.

In the statement about maybe its because you are getting older even though it's only your 30!s. Sounds like you are far enough into your 30's to start forming more deep rooted opinions of your own, but not far enough into them to realize you can let others have theirs, even if they are different than yours, but you can still have a great relationship with them. I'm talking about Art, not this guest. The guest is too far down a negative path and sadly people of that mindset seem to get stuck there and never come back more often than not. I wouldn't associate with the guest at all.

I have never understood why people can't handle listening to differing opinions, even if you know they're bs. I can listen to anything without being bothered. If it was otherwise I would have stabbed my eardrums long ago.

I still (lacking a guest from Borneo, space, or some far off African quest for Prestor John) that they don't insist (and test) that they use a landline. Even book them a cheap room at Motel 6, or worse. Come on? Cheap hotels everywhere have a landline, if not, go to your older parents, church, school, or where-ever. Or get Mr.Fidget to teach them phone ops.
