Not really, i need the Quadro to do Autocad and Solidworks, thats what i do for a living, those cards help me make a good living and save time rendering.
My gaming box is just a toy, i make a good living, but im 59 years old and managed to do it for living in a tropical paradise while working at home.
I live in one of the top 5 most expensive places in the USA, i will retire at 62 and will likely buy a small farm in Kentucky.

just to brag, I got an IBM 286 with 1 meg of ram to pull DHCP and go online. it was entirely useless but I got it on the internet
