Build up slowly, like maybe 10 minutes today and then work up to 15 over a week.  You need to develop a tolerance.

I keep saying it- but the difference between a show hosted by somebody who wants to be there and somebody who is paid to sit there is amazing.  Periscope demonstrated just how much Art seems to be enjoying himself.

I almost got through.  He picked me up during the top of the hour and put me on hold, then 42 minutes past and the show ended with me still on hold.  I had bullet points and everything! Could have been in and out in 2 minutes FLAT!
Here were my points:

I was time traveling for the last 3 hours.  Got home just in time to hear the start of the show and you guys already had 15 pages in this thread.  I spent the whole show listening live, but reading about a half hour behind the show.  Weird experience, but kinda trippy.

Sounds like it would have been an interesting call.

tonight's open lines show was the most enjoyable thing i've heard on the radio in years.  this thing is going to just keep getting better.  there were several moments where i had the biggest grin on my face listening to art do what he does.
