I know it's been upsetting to you what Bellgab has devolved into. IMHO the hatred shown towards Art and Heather is no different than what's happening now.. I retreated here then and only ventured out when Art would post to show that a few us didn't like the treatment he was receiving.

This forum is owed and controlled by mVee.
If I don't like what's happening here my only choice is to leave. Many have made that choice for a variety of reasons over the years. I suspect this thread will pass away too. We'll find another safer and kinder place to gather. The spirit of Nancy's Haven will live on..

Put yourself in mVee's shoes .. How does one come up with a new business model for a forum that was about hating Dave and Falkie.. and supportive of Art.. and now there is no more Art to love, hate or support.. what would you do?

I haven't a clue. Except to sit back and see what it evolves into or shut it all down.  mVee is smart, I respect his abilities.
It will be interesting to watch how he changes his forum in the future.

Not well this evening.  I knew I spent too much time trying to neutralize some of the toxic posters with humor, (yes, a little snarky at times) and I have gotten toxic exposure sickness from some of the posts.  Mean spirited thoughts can have an adverse affect on some folks.  I need to take some time, now, to generate good will.  I'll be back when I feel better.  I love you me Fellow Haveneers.

Here's some news from our home front: at precisely 11 p.m. last night, just as Angel was premiering his new time slot for Skywatchers and I was tuning in ... when bammo! Big tree falls, takes out some smaller ones, part of our outside stairs, all the electricity and cable ... ripped and lying on the ground.

Live wires until electric company comes and unlocks the box and turns everything off. Electrician is peeved. State is taking over. He's worked for Trump and has been paid! Biggest hurdle now is finding a person to set the pole that holds the wires. That's a specialized job.

But! We have a generator and I finally figured out how to hook my old iPhone up to my main computer and use it as a hotspot, so this is all working out. Hope it's not an expensive data thing or trap. It's AT&T.

I can now get caught up, finally. Hope things have been quiet. 👯
