I'm a huge Frank Black / Pixies fan.  Actually saw Frank play the Marsist on that tour and I remember him saying "No one likes this song but we love it so we're gonna play it anyway."  Haha, loved that, then they proceeded to blow the roof off the club with a ripping version.

He's always been into space amongst many other eclectic themes.  Here's one I think it's about the Biosphere project (His lyrics can be pretty oblique so not always easy to tell.)

Wow. Hoagie wouldn't end like this, would he?

Maybe he flew too close to the truth sun and got burned.

If it's not obvious to you yet, the Clintons are serious about suppressing the truth. You didn't hear that from me though. ;)  8)

One of my all-time fave albums.  Listened to it countless times and still do on occasion.  Btw the song "Big Red" from it is about terraforming Mars.

Love how there has been absolutely no update on the situation... He sure cares alot about his listeners and paying subs"not that i think he has any"....

Honestly, since whatever arrangement they were counting on to be back Monday obviously hasn't worked out, I don't see how any variation of the inevitable "working on it" would serve to engender any more confidence in his situation.

I just want closure.  As has been said many times before, this thread makes the show fun.  I wouldn't listen without it.  However, I'm bored with Hoagie.  His true self shines through more and more.  He's essentially a grifter.  We could have the same fun in the Noory thread, quite frankly.  At least he shows up to work and never disappoints with his ignorance.

No. Noory never gets crazy. Noory is bored with what he does and goes through the motions. He has a list of questions that he just reads off like a checklist. And it's all done in a very professional and clinical manner. There's no equipment problems that get blamed on hackers. Noory never gets antagonized at his quests and starts demanding evidence. Most of the time he's not even paying attention to them.

Well, I can't argue with that!  ;)

I guess what I was trying to say earlier in the thread is that I am sick of Hoagland's bullshit.  It simply isn't fun anymore.  If he happens to latch on to a militant black panther network then let me know.  In fact I would love to hear Hoagie interview Bobby Seale.  I'm not kidding either.  Hoagie in Dick Cavett mode....alas...those days are gone.

looks like hoagie is being a cheap ass

Dude...I really hope Hoagie just fades away into oblivion.  Or maybe somehow in some hellish parallel universe he rooms with Falkie.

If that's the case, how much does Hoagie expect?  Clearly he thinks he's worth more than he is.  Anybody investing in him is a fool.  You can't deny that mang!  ;)

Wasn't that the case with DMRN?  He has to earn subs to offset the cost?  Hoagie just wants charity, that's all.
