No, I don't even remember how I found out about them. I was living in Seattle at the time I first started listening to them.

yeah it's crazy. i watched his funeral and memorial service on youcensor.. it was a good 4-5 hours after all the guest speakers spoke. it had randy from lamb of god and jello from the dead kennedys/lard. the perspective brockie had with gwar was unprecedented. as much as it was a novelty, you never felt like something was being slammed down your throat. some of the songs were hilarious, but consisted of A+ musicianship. my favorite album was scumdogs of the universe. i still play songs from that cd pretty often.

They had a big shindig here in Richmond after he passed.  Probably what you saw. The guys in GWAR and Lamb of God are cool, genuinely nice guys. You see them around a lot.  They frequented a couple restaurants I used to work in.

Scumdogs is awesome!  My favorite as well.  'Sick of You' was the anthem to the servers when I was a line cook back in the day. LOL!
