Anybody here know html? Want a laugh? Here are the first few lines of the source of Hoagland's "Mars Tidal Model" page:

This.....does sound......very scripted.
I dont think RCH could follow a script anyway, thats what makes him special, unlike the talking heads we always hear.

Messy indeed, but functional.

Other than the duplicate <title> .. </title>, and the conflicting charset statements, you mean?

Quote from: Schlyder7 on October 06, 2015, 04:33:43 AMDamn.. fell asleep and missed the show again. :(
I fell asleep at the start of the 3rd hr. of MITD, woke up with a terrible itch around a wound that's healing by 2nd intention on an edematous shin, & while I was taking care of that, heard on OSOM of someone who found in [F]BI files from 1917-18 notes of an investig'n into some quasi-cult around someone claiming to have a revolutionary flying machine (& possible ray gun) partway thru development, in cx w mysterious lights seen in the sky in Utah at the time.  Interesting (& disturbing) how the feds investigated, but was any evidence presented that points to anything other than a opportunist looking to cash in or otherwise benefit from an unsolved lights-in-the-sky flap during a period of war hysteria?

The mechanisms always involve counter-rotating somethings, produced according to plans from unidentified/mysterious sources that have to be kept from those who'd harness them to destructive purposes, and always need a little more development $ to become practical.

yup, i haven't looked at the source of the entire page, i may later, im sure it has lots of errors.
The issue with errors isn't a problem usually when someone isn't on a smartphone or tablet, errors mostly increase load times unless they are real sloppy then they are noticeable in the text.

At least the bloody page now renders in Firefox. For many years it looked like this:

Hoagie's interruptions -- which he does -- often knock the guest off script, producing spontaneity.  Sometimes it works, sometimes it falls flat.  But it sounds like a real conversation.

Great show last night, love the thought of little men in tweed suits and bowler hats chasing lights in the sky in jerky black-and-white.  Loved hoagie's "A SVEDE?"  Ya, Hoagie, somevhere a Svede is alvays at the bottom off it.

Looks like the server is misconfigured. Php tags are supposed to be processed server side and should not be seen in the browser window. Looks like someone screwed up.

I can't take credit for supporting your project since I am perpetually broke and have to admit, while not having gone through the NasaSpaceFlight forum (after getting an idea what that would have involved several months ago), am not confident the NASA results have shown a real effect attributable to an EM Drive, but I do commend you for what you are doing.

I believe the grassroots of science is that it should be available to everybody to attempt to replicate and critique.  This is what leads to validating science as truth -- it's not truth unless we can replicate it, make predictions from it, and use it.  Otherwise, not being able to demonstrate it, it would just be an interesting bit of trivia regardless of whether it is the way the universe actually works.  Unfortunately, modern science has necessarily become so technically complex and expensive this is not usually possible.

So thank you for what you are doing Mr. Distler.  I support you in spirit even though I can't financially :).

You have a large soapbox with RCH! It was a very good show! I would suggest you become a regular with Richard!

Make the audience part of the progress reports! Maybe just a 10 or 15 minute segment here and there...

Good luck!

Thanks one and all for the welcome...I've enjoyed your senses of humor quite a bit. Richard does want me to check in from time to time and I've agreed. He and I get along well and was impressed with his topic knowledge...hint...that's the real secret for a great interview imo.

Braaaps dudes and dudettes. Braaaps...lol!  8)
