I agree with Ecker entirely. Disclosure, if it's real, will never happen unless their is a gun to their head.

Well this is really uninteresting. Maybe tomorrow night's topic will be better. I don't care why politicians are or are not talking about alien cover-ups etc. They all shills to begin with, so why does it matter...

It has been more enjoyable for me thus far than I anticipated -- I don't think it's been a bad show.

He has a point. What benefits do the powers that be gain by disclosure ?

and how many would actually believe them?

Kevin Sorbo

I don't understand why officials wouldn't admit to existence. I understand they might not want to disclose details, but do they really believe in 2015 that the general population couldn't handle it? I would think it would be beneficial to the government to disclose existence if only to justify the military budget.

Basset: ~~"Listen, I'm in the middle of this OK! I'm kind of a big deal, and I feel this is going to happen!"

Even though he just said there's 69 years of precedence...

There are people in this world destroying ancient sites because they can't handle those sites "existing"

So yeah.

unless if its a scenario of " well sorry folks we have no power to stop them" type of scenario

I don't think it would justify the military budget.  It would be like building spears to defend against ICBMs.

bstuart

There may be people who can't handle it, but I doubt they are a majority, especially in western societies. I feel like that rationale is an excuse to keep things under wraps.

If it's real, then there's obviously a lot more going on than simple disclosure of "existence". I would wager that it boils down to control, and the holder of the keys obviously feels it benefits them more to keep it secret.

I may be in the minority, but, I'm not a big fan of Whitley Streiber.  :-\

Yeah that is likely, but not necessarily true.

I want to believe that we have definitive proof, I just don't see how that secret could be kept. If we know, surely other governments know as well, right? For this to be true a one world shadow government must exist or at the very least an impossible level of collusion is occurring between nations. Surely we aren't so special that aliens are exclusively visiting the US?

Hahaha sure you did Don.

I was literally just writing that I thought Don Ecker was a good add to the show tonight when he went into full dickbag mode.  ;D

There was some story he told on the air, years ago, where he was driving down the freeway, took an exit ramp, and ended up flying around in some alternate dimension or such.  Until he recants that one I can't believe anything he says either.

I agree in that I don't think there's anything conclusive to disclose.
