I didn't start this way.

Understood  ;) ... It takes years and years of meditation and unbridled dedication...

haha no, it's Dan Burisch.

Totally ruining tie-dye as an option for people of a certain age who would like to be hip. Damn you, Dan Burisch.

Hoagland really needs to have some BRAAPS shirts made. I would buy one. Can we have a graphic artist get on that?

maureen

BRAAPS because we are made with holes so that we don't explode!!

HumanBeing

The guy who submitted the first fan art for Hoagland's show.

I dreamed a dream in time gone by ...

Tonight, join Andrew Currie as he explains to Richard Hoagland what "JPEG Compression Artifacts" are, what Pareidolia is, what image noise is, what dirt on your scanner and scratches on photographs are, and several other important image analysis tools that Richard has misused and abused over at least the past 3 decades.

... Now life has killed the dream I dreamed.

coaster

Glass domes on the moon. I'm going to beat my head in with a hammer now. pareidolia is the only thing hoagland doesnt believe in. 19.5. Over and out.

NASA shill...Btw, I know you are a busy bee, and I know you have better things to do, but holy shit would I love a debate between you and hoagland. Fuck me, that would be brilliant.

There are people on this board who have said the same thing and are apparently contacting him about that.  I would have very rigid pre-conditions, at the very least there must be an independent moderator and there must be an agreed-upon list of topics from which we do not stray.  SaucyRossy has asked me for anything else, and I've been thinking about it ... but at the moment the only thing I can think of would also be the requirement that we of course have an equal amount of time, and that we get to fully ask our question rather than be trampled on during the setup time-and-again, as I was during my call on Tuesday/Wednesday.

You know of course that would never happen. If there was a moderator, it would more than likely be that pumpkin headed Mike Bara. To be honest, its pretty frustrating.  I have read everything you and Expat have to say, and there is such an oppurtunity here. But it would never be a fair one.  I think Expat even said he would not tune into the new show. I don't blame him. now there is a better way to hear Hoagland's nonsense, and not a damn thing to do about it. I know Hoagland is Art's friend and all, but he could have had a far better show with far better hosts. If only someone would call him out on his bullshit live on air....
Now life has killed the dream I dreamed indeed..

I am not listening to his drivel tonight. His show is fun only because the beginning of his show fails on so many levels. enough schadenfreude I figure. My night will be spent with liquor and tunes older than I am. Cheerio. Enjoy the circus that is rch.
Also, richard, im sure you read this thread, as you have referenced things from here. Debate stuart robbins. Or expat. Neither one is in it to run you through the muck. A clean honest discussion. If your science is there, whats the problem? It would be a clean sweep. Unless of course you are wrong. /cough youare cough

If Richard would not agree to those terms, then a debate would not happen.  Not that I'm saying the opposite is true: I am speaking in hypotheticals in that I haven't decided if - even if I were offered - I would debate Richard.

However, those terms are perfectly legit: There is nothing in there that would preferentially bias either of us, and my willingness to even have Art Bell (and in the past, George Noory) be moderator would actually be a bias in favor of Richard.  That said, I would NEVER agree to have Mike as moderator.

Talk about a con artist. Riding the coattails of another one (cayce). He is also a plagiarist.  I'm done making an honest living. Semms like bullshit is an easy living and there are no consequences.  Fun fun..god damn I am in a bad mood now. Either the drinking or hoagland. I have a headache.

Art talked over his brilliant guest while a flat earther was spewing nonsense. He would be as impartial as my big toe talking about my foot. Mike bara was a joke. I just imagined if there was a debate, the moderator would be magically disconnected, but hey, wait a second. Mike bara is on the line, he can moderate. You would never get a fair shake with hoagland. He has his pulpit now. No ones going to stop him.

Astroguy, last night I saw what you meant about how fast Hoagland is.  His guests were somewhat incredulous of his physics and 'sun screen' ideas.  Hoagland didn't miss a beat in countering their arguments with Hoagland-brand data.

He's very fast, and he has mastered the art of making BS sound valid.  I was listening (still am, I keep pausing it) to his Leads presentation about Elenin from several years ago.  The way he makes all those numbers seem important is pretty impressive, you almost want to believe him.  I give Richard credit where credit is due: He has passion, and he knows how to at least sound impressive.  If he hadn't gone down the pseudoscience road, he could have been a big name in popularizing science to the general public.

I find that Hoagie is a great show to fall asleep to. Weird music, somewhat entertaining guests.

I was timid on my support to RCH when he took over the show (I didn't even want him on as a guest to Art's show), but what he does is interesting.

Hoagland has a phd in strawman arguments. Also, cutting people off. I hate how he says he is going to take another call and then bullshits with his buddies for twenty minutes. 3 calls in the last hour of his show. And he said the lines were lit up. if im wrong, correct me. He also said his show was a forum to get the truth out. I havent seen that. Truth happens when bullshit collides with reason. The result is knowledge.  This is baloney.  On a bun. A hoagie if you will. A hoagland.

I agree, but for some reason I find it calming to listen to. Also, sometimes humorous.

Boring lies lull me to sleep. I knew eggs were not green, but holy hell did it put me to sleep. Same shit. I was so excited that hoagland had a new show. He was away from the coast to coast call screeners. Away from noory. I thought for sure something would happen. All thats happening is a lot of hand sitting. I dont follow hoagland as much as say, expat, so I probably am not right to refute his bullshit. But there are a few that are. And now that theres a chance. but hey, hands. Lets sit.

Plus I just love that it starts up right smack in the middle of Coast.  I imagine it bisecting that show like it's a middle finger pointing straight up.

Hoagland is in no way affecting coast to coast. The drop off in numbers after arts show is worrisome for the dmdn. Hoagland is  here because dmdn has nothting to switch it with. This isnt talk. Believe me. There are numbers.
