yesterday i was watching some really awesome priest bootlegs on youtube from very late 80s and early 90s on painkiller tour. those guys were tight. their US festival 83 set was also A++.

The funny thing is even though this is a repeat I don't remember hearing it even though I'm pretty sure I've heard it.

Yup, one of the few groups that sound close to studio quality while on stage. Lot's of credit to their sound-man too, but yeah, they've had some great performances.
That's right about the same time I saw AC / DC down @ Alpine Valley on their Razors Edge tour. Awesome concert there too, although the acoustics sucked.

because there is no substance in his monologues or discussions. nothing sinks in or is memorable with listeners. no breakthroughs occur. nothing talked about has been news in 8 to 10 years. i often cannot remember a fucking thing from the show the previous night. i can listen to jones or art bell and even the date of the show will stick with me for many months. they are pro, where as richard is a n00b.
