Ha, then I have seen him a few times recently!  It is hard to follow almost need a spreadsheet of who is in or out of good bands. Anthrax, Mega, Slayer, Testament, Exodus, etc. I dont care just like rocking out sometimes.

i was lucky to have seen exodus somewhat recently with gary holt playing guitar. not long after he went and hit the road with slayer, then exodus went on to play shows without him. he is literally the owner of the band. that might leave a fan with an empty feeling. it's like a musical chairs with some of these bands these days. it is insane to keep up with who is playing in what band and when. anyways i saw exodus with testament who i think had a replacement drummer at the time.

i read blabbermouth often and all the comments at the bottom of every article is filled with sometimes many dozens of memes. it's like those users have it down to a science at this point. the most popular articles with high volume of comments are typically about lineup changes or firings of personel, or multiple versions of the same group on tour. or maybe some irrelevant washed up hair metal band from the 80s who hasn't done anything significant, possibly ever. half of the time i don't even read the article i just watch an included video and read the article's comments at the bottom. i think the only article i saw there that wasn't trolled too much in the comments was when rick astley played drums and sang ac/dc where this video abruptly emerges sometime in late july or something. it's like the people of blabbermouth got rickroll'd. nobody knew what the fuck hit them. they got trolled before they pressed play on the embedded video.

it's a dying breed... metal... actual real metal. RIP. rock music in general has turned into homogenized horseshit. IMO protools flooded the industry with half-assed, over produced, fake, pussified, nonsensical, insincere and hypocritical music of all kinds. i would like to see as many ppl as possible before they die, even if they are beyond their prime.

i think the last time i was in a mosh pit was at a casualties show when dayglo abortions opened. cigarettes, lighter, money, fuck what else... it was all over the floor in half a verse. too old for that. i will still go for the wall though. if you can get one hand on it, within a song or two you can have both hands on... then lock your elbows in place from that point onward and that space is yours until that band is done.
