OMG - Did you know the free Gnu Image Manipulation Program works really good for .gif's ? It fits right in w/ this thread too. a.k.a.  the GIMP.

OMG - Did you know the free Gnu Image Manipulation Program works really good for .gif's ? It fits right in w/ this thread too. a.k.a.  the GIMP.          

I downloaded that.  I'm too dumb to use it though.

Play around w/ it. It's rather quite fun once you jump the learning curve. There are numerous tutorials for it online too.
Quick tut:
1. load a pic
2. goto Tools>Selection Tools>Fuzzy Select
3. click an area of the pic to highlight it
4. goto filters>Animation>waves and leave the defaults, but select 6 frames
5. preview it under Filters>Animation>Playback if you like
6. goto File>Export and change "Select file type by extension" (lower left of popup) to gif
7. Click export and select animated in the popup.

Done

Play w/ it. I think you'll like it.

he needs a proper schedule with weekly image panels and arfology sessions. his schedule is always wide open and show details are posted at the last minute. more planning goes into setting up a booth at the flea market. there is too much emphasis on guests but not enough substance half of the time, and it is the same with MITD.

RCH has grown so comfortable with winging it as he goes, he now habitually goes to repeat every week and a half. sometimes twice a week like his final couple weeks on DMDN.
