It should support 1 + 0   then. You're right though, gotta check the board specs or get a good controller if you have an open PCIx - PCIe slot, unless it's just a stand-alone external NAS. Then ya, you're kind of limited.

I may go with 1+0. not sure if it supports it, its a Asus board running FreeNas, i built the box about 2 years ago, gotta check the manual to see what it supports, for now im just happy i didn't loose anything.

He's a good guest but Noory asks all the wrong questions. Same ones that he's asked a thousand times before.  Not one question that I can recall about Blai's actual experiences and that's what I wanted to hear.  Blai's had a lot of experience in the field and he's no bullshit artist.  If he thinks a "possessed" person is mentally ill, he calls them out and tells them to get counseling.

Just pop the SKU into a search engine. Should be a sticker on the Mobo somewhere. 2 years old - probably ink stamped. "<SKU#> specs" usually brings you right to the Manufacturer's spec page.
